In Texas, two things are gospel – football and rodeos. Growing up as the daughter of a football legend made me practically royalty, but it’s not a crown I’m interested in. Not my first read by author, I have officially read every single book so far!
Ryan Kearney is the younger brother of Rhett, where Rhett is handsome in a rugged way, Ryan is on the pretty side if you wish. Having slept through half of Dublin, he and his brother are heading to America to compete in the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Circuit. A dream really, so this was a very exciting time for Ryan…could almost have been even more in the mile high club if his brother didn’t pull the responsible card on him. It’s going to be a LONG 9 months!!
Adeline is a girl who is pretty much always around family, she is there to work, help and just be. It is perfectly fine until she decided she is going to follow her own dreams, that don’t involve working for her family any longer. Easier said than done!
One evening changes it all, a meet and some sassy fiestiness later….what can go wrong? So this is where it would be great if you read Book #1 BUT no worries, this one gives out enough back-story and info that you will be fine. What I love about this book is that Adeline does not give…not an inch and makes Ryan work for it. Their situation is no ideal, considering why Ryan is in the States and the rules his brother made. Also Adeline, she has a plan, remember…yeah, ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR! is all I am going to say!!
