Not my first read by author, she is a top favorite of mine. I have read ALL her books and heck re-read them a couple or 8 times!! So when Cash came out I was SUPER EXCITED! A little background on her books from my point of view. They are Biker Romance and consuming, each one different in it’s own but together as a Series of course. The men are UBER-ALPHA, sexy, bikers and very hand’s on dominant, I’ll leave it at that 😉
This story hits home a little and you’ll see towards the end. Cash is a Knights member and his only family he has ever known. His own mother gave him into the system as a child, and he never knew who his father was. He always assumed he just didn’t want him either. Layla is a BRAVE BRAVE young woman who took on so much at a young age and grew into taking care of herself and being very independent. In comes the first meet where Layla deemed Cash as the Sexy Viking in her head but then get’s knocked down a few pegs when he simply say NOT INTERESTED. After that Layla swore to herself she will not make a fool of herself again, in any situation. Ha! Jokes on her because that “gym” you’re going to, well not only does she see Viking man there but other surprises.
This is a fast as train and consuming story! It has a normal aspect but with a twist of biker and alpha romance. What I love mostly about the story is that it’s very relatable and something you HOPE you can live through once in your life, or the next lifetimes! Cash is all consuming, larger than life big man who is just a little child scared just like he was back then. Layla lost her Nan but was left something she was thankful for. When danger striker her and her family, Cash is the knight in shinning armor and I MEAN IT, he is swoon worthy and all man!
Sometimes life throws in unexpected roads, fate dangles that goodness right above your head and time, never seems to be enough of. BUT fate, now fate is a tricky little thing, when it’s meant IT’S MEANT! And that’s what this love is, they are beautiful together. I teared up towards the end, hit a little home and well just thinking about it makes me want to cry again. The story has it all CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE especially Gunner’s story too!!
