Not my first read by author, although it’s been a while since I have officially reviewed! This is a DARK Romance to which I chose carefully which I read, I am and am not into it if it makes sense, I read too many that turned me off of it due to them not being my style but I knew I’d be safe with this author because I am familiar wit her writing style! Here is to one BAD-ASS BOOK!
This is a POWER TO THE HEROINE type of book, she is bad-ass kick-ass and freaking amazing!! I’ll say this is the reason I trust this author when I want to read Dark Romance. Anyways, Isadora is on a one woman mission. Kill the Moretti Mafia and nothing will stand in her way, even using her body to finish the task at hand. Meaning the job she does is only for cover, the things she does is only for cover but the revenge will be for taking away the only that she loved and cared for!

Characters
Isadora: Aside form having a beautiful name she is fearless, beautiful, smart and loving. From the moment she was born she was destined to do and be where she ended up. Growing up with no parents was hard and to come to understand why she did what she did, painful…so painful but Isadora lives it. She really is a perfect mix for the Dark Romance meet’s Enemy-To-Lovers heroine!
Jasper: RUTHLESS!! When you think of the mob, and imagine someone so HANDSOME, SEXY, BIG, RUGGED…he is all that and some. He really is ruthless, and his childhood did not help, BUT he was born into the world. His character is complex but soft in places, it’s rather beautiful!
All the side characters fit well and smooth, equally will play a great part! Watch out for little Heather!
The story might be DARK but it has romance well incorporated in it. Isadora and Jasper go head-to-head in many scenes and both thrilling and dark. Amazing!! I did shed a few tears, after-all this was a emotional book along with the trill. So basically all the feels. I wish there was more & after crying to the author on IG DM she informed me that I’m safe! *crisis averted* I don’t know about you but a good Dark Romance without the sexy scenes being right, isn’t one to me, so safe to say THIS IS SPOT ON even the dark scenes!
