Not my first read by authors, this is the second book in the Roommate Duet and you can’t tell but I was super excited to get it because Book one nearly killed me….

[insert me screaming] BOY IS IT INTENSE in the beginning, on your toes freaking out intense. It obviously starts where it left off in Book 1 but I was not expecting that. But after the intense comes heartbreak on a whole new level. For what Sophie had gone through hell also Mason, gah i can only imagine why she made the decisions she did and why Mason let her.

Then comes the guilt of everything, anger, pain, and resentment. It’s always hard to have gone through a situation and not have the after-shock for many years to come. I feel with Sophie on why she is confused and also fell for Mason because he doesn’t know how to fix it for her. She’s just a MESS! Luckily Liam is still and always in the dynamic and sure brings out the fun in all the right and wrong times!

This still was an adventure even with all the heavy and heartache. Sophie and Mason are just trying to find a way to each other again, in the process a lot happens and all I can say is to HANG ON! The ending was beautiful and AGAIN, NOT COOL FOX LADIES…NOT COOL!! I can’t wait for Liam & Maddie’s story, that should be a fun and interesting one because there is a BOMB at the end this book!
