New to me author and books! The blurb is what caught my eye, I was a little skeptical but glad I have it a chance.
Ash and Taylor’s story is not a typical one. Ash ran…and not just literally but also emotionally…trying to move on from the past…until his past comes back to him. In a form of someone forbidden and untouchable. Taylor follows Ash in hopes to, she isn’t even sure exactly why but when she shows up at his door step…everything changes. She is a goodie-tooshie girl, smart, pretty and very proper but is drawn to Ash not only physically but she feels safe with him, which is huge for her. The only thing now is that the NEW Ash she get’s to know only intrigues her more. While Ash has daemons yes, will he be able to look past them to what showed up at his door-step or destroy everything for both of them?
This sure was a emotional read, I wasn’t used to the style and so took me a little get get into it all but once I did picked right up. Very angsty and ALL THE FEELS. For a first read this was enjoyable. Little on the YA side for me but enjoyable.
