Not my first read by author, a little while ago she was a NEW to me author that quickly became a FAVORITE one! And this stand-alone was MAGIC!
The beginning to Frankie and Evan’s store was actually their ending. Frankie’s heart not only shattered when he just left her three years ago but is in pieces that will never be able to be put back together. They were friends before anything and THAT is what hurt a little more after he left, left her in the wake.

My heart on this…I mean, Amy almost about killed me with this. I can’t reveal too much because believe me when you realize it all in the beginning…you’ll be swiping through pages faster because it’s captivating yes but it get’s a hold of your heart strings and every page turns a sound. The reason for Evan’s leaving, the lies, the secrets…the return isn’t an easy one for a lot of reasons & Frankie might just need to set aside old feelings to be there for him…I mean they WERE friends before anything. A girl who thought her world was Evan then had it ripped out by him can totally be there for him and guard her heart again, right?!
