Not my first by the author and I have read all her books and absolutely love the author’s style and words. That said, this is something a little bit different and new from her and so I was just jumping in. I will say that it does contain a slight trigger of mine, I say slight because I managed to get past it pretty fast and continue reading, without eeven blinking back.
Reese and Cooper are two people who have been inseparable through out their whole life, heck even their parents are best friends and in each other’s lives at all times. Their chemistry always is sparkling but Cooper does not want to do anything to ruing their friendship that means the world to him even if he might feel more for Reese and Reese doesn’t know how he feels the same for her. It’s basically a thin line that they both walk, because on one hand it would be so easy to fall into place and the other, no one want’s to risk losing a person. After all, their relationship is not just a friendship but a soul mate type of relationship in all the ways!
This will make you laugh, swoon and even fall in love with both hero and heroine but it will also break your heart, make you want to yell at them and mend it all together. For the first time I was not ready for the author to surprise me in the best way possible. This is a Cliffy and so be prepared because after Book 1 I am not sure which way it’s going to go. Very SLOW-BURN and I don’t want to give out too much but definitely need Book 2 already, like now!
