RELEASE DATE: August 18, 2020

Not my first read by the author, and she happens to be one of my ‘firsts’ many moons ago. I have loved every book I’ve read by this author and this series isn’t any different.

To start off with I want to say that the hero and heroine have a long history together. The heroine has been crushing hardcore and more on the hero for sometime now and events occurred during a few years time and I loved learning about them and what had brought on actions and words. That said, it will break your heart and make you feel everything in between. When the hero and heroine finally get a chance to re-connect, it may have been an impulse on both their end but it left the hero feeling guilty for taking advantage and that’s when the real heartbreak starts.

I do have to say that sadly this got a 4.5 because at some points for a while the heroine, I don’t know I understood but also something turned me off of her, some actions and so forth. But aside from that it was hard to move on but once I did they both redeemed themselves. Haha this may sound short explained but I can’t give out too much it will give out the story, so when you read it you’ll understand. The ending was a little short, it climaxed and then epilogue, that’s how it felt for me. I was still little bitter about the heroine and all so I would have liked to see a little more or sooner. The epilogue was sweet, funny and sexy. Lot’s of angst and a roller coaster ride worth taking.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
