Not my first read by the author, and I have read all her books. I was so excited to hear she is giving us something new, so to say I was excited to get an ARC is an understatement. Heads up, this does INVOLVE Cloverleigh Farms in ways 🙂
I am not going to lie but when this started I thought it was going to go one way but the heroine surprised me through out the beginning. I thought it was going to be another, damsel rich girl running away to start her own life and bad dirty mechanic who has to work for everything and work hard that is. But even from the beginning she turn a turn, a good turn and I was intrigued. I will say off the bat that Melanie NEVER disappoints when it comes to sexy scenes. WOW who turned up the fire?!
This was original with a twist, I loved all the characters, even the heroine got to me fast enough, the story line, the events…it’s was beautiful, cute, haunting at times and romantic! The hero was a lot more romantic than he gives himself credit for. I can’t wait for book 2, that one should be interesting!
