Has this country-rock legend finally met his match? A woman who can fill the aching void for “more” that’s been missing from his life
Brady O’Neil tells the world he’s returning to his hometown in upstate New York to help his sister. While it’s the truth, he’s also there to rediscover the soul of his music. His life is forever altered when his childhood mentor leaves him a box that sends him to a woman trapped in the past
Losing her grandmother feels like yet another blow the world has dealt Cari. Keeping the music store and her daughter afloat are the only things she can focus on. Having Grams’ beloved student saunters in doesn’t change anything because he’s an adventure she can’t afford
Conceding that Brady holds the solution to her troubles doesn’t mean he can have her heart. She buried that bruised organ alongside her husband years ago
Can Brady convince her that hearts aren’t limited to just one love song?
“We would be art. We would be paint and chords blended together.”
RELEASE DATE: February 3, 2021
NEW to me author and books, I was asked by the author to read/review and I accepted gladly from the blurb, then saw the cover and just matched so well, so I was excited to give this a try. So thank you to the author for providing me with my ARC!
When I started this I knew it was going to pull at my heart strings only because I knew the heroine was a widow with child, sand those always always make me cry and like I was right right off the bat I did cry. I loved pretty much everything about this, from the characters to the story line. It all flowed so well and it played out like a movie in my head. I don’t want to give out too too much because there are a few twists and turns here, lot’s of heart, fun, laughter, romance and SWOONing. I want to touch on the connection between the hero and heroine, I mean from the beginning. The heroine is a widow with the sweetest little daughter, lost so much and still making it every day. The hero is a big shot, has it all, maybe missing exactly what’s right in front of him. The heroine gives the hero a run for his money for sure, I loved all their moments the kisses *sigh* for this being my first book by the author, I FELL IN LOVE & will definitely be reading more by the author!
A MUST READ!
