BRAND NEW to me author. I actually saw this on one of the PR sign-ups and read the blurb and really wanted to have the chance to early review. So happy when I did receive it. Even thought his is book 6 in the series, I really was able to get the full feel OF the story and a little of the other characters. I am not sure if this can be read as a standalone because this is the ONLY book I’ve read in the series.
This was a little different in my eyes, yes the H&H are in the same town, met and everything romance and magical but the heroine did end up leaving the town while the hero stayed behind because he was up for a promotion for the Fire Chief. So for a while when the heroine left I was thinking to myself what will happen, how will they work. Even though it wasn’t my favorite style, I still enjoyed it. This is where the previous book characters came in and of course since I didn’t read the other’s it was a little harder to fit in if you will. Very sweet story and glad I still gave it a chance.
