Not my first time reading the author but it has been a very long time. I dived into this kind of blind and was just going with the flow. And the flow took me to BDSM-ALPHA-TOWN *insert drooling emoji*

I also want to let you all know that I did not figure out nor look hard enough to know this would be a cliffy so there is that. This is a form of office-romance where the heroine is a little clueless and the hero is a lot dangerous! It’s hot, steamy, sexy, romantic and captivating! The hero is one of the big guys, owner, boss whatever you want to call him he calls the shots, the heroine is just trying to get by…enter her working at the same club as her best friend and ending up being the boss’s personal pet. As much as there is heat in this equally there is danger, secrets, mystery and lies. The cliffy-end is INTENSE!

Not my first read by the author but sadly will be my last. All personal preferences and after reading romance books for over a decade, it just is not my style. I did give this author a lot of tries, but as a reader we know that once something just isn’t clicking to step away. I do wish the author the best. I will say that I was very ad because I LOVE LOVE the cover and the blurb got me hyped up.

DON’T CONTINUE, DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS!

The first 15%:- The word KID alone makes me cringe in any romance book used as an endearment but especially from someone under 10 years older than the heroine but especially when it just comes off more annoying than sexy. The hero & heroine jump right to fighting for dominance, especially the heroine, walking into The Alpha CEOs office with her business and speaking very highly of herself. I’m all for strong woman but to me she came off as arrogant in a naïve way. Then we have Alpha CEO who is more of a arrogant person himself except every time he calls her KID I cringe. That word just, to me doesn’t work. So the hero cheated and left on the heroine when she was 18 and they were together and the heroine now tells him that he could have still had a relationship with her parents and brother and his answer is: if i heard anything about you with another guy I’d have flown right back…yada yada. Um alright, that’s not really a reason to leave just a plot with words and very clique but yeah.

So I skipped a few chapters wanted to see what I was suspicious of. And of course, she got prego when they were younger and he left her. Forward to now when he finds out, threatening her with custody papers, I honestly thought he was going to actually hit her, the heroine being childish about her answer about his daughter and her saying ‘…and a baby you didn’t want?” makes no sense since he never knew in the first place. And it only got worse from then on, the heroines childish behavior I WANTED TO SLAP HER SO HARD.
That’s as far as I got. From the beginning where he tells her he fucked another girl while they were together to the first official start of this Office Romance the heroine explicitly explains her night before endeavors with another male.

This may be someone’s taste but I don’t like it, makes me cringe & the drama in this was unnecessary, it only got worse after The Hero found out he had a daughter and that’s when I started disliking them both more and more.
DNF 52% Such a shame I fell in love with the cover & from the blurb was excited for this.

Not my first read by the author, I am very well acquainted with her writing and love a lot of her books, I also have read the previous books in this series.

I knew going into this one that I’d be 50/50 because of the heroine. She’s very strong and well a boss of your will which is great but a slight turn off for me. Luckily the hero matches and out-matches her so it balanced but I want fully sold on this heroine for a while. She has a big heart but it’s naked with a lot of proper I’m rich and sexy style of attitude feel that gives me an off vibe. Their relationship feels more like a friend with benefits, dangerous forbidden SEXY AS FUCK vibe. He is very much the alpha sexy in suit man, they both would combine a POWERHOUSE couple of that makes sense.
That said the story did not disappoint! I was on my toes and even though I kind of guessed maybe not fully, it still took me by surprise. I ended up really loving both of in the end, even though deep down I’d like to have smacked the hero upside the head first…but definitely happy with 2 epilogues and the after feel of the story!

Not my first read by the ladies, I love their duo as well as their single published books. I was excited to see something NEW coming along and excited to read after I read the blurb!

This was something different but expected from the ladies. My favorite no cheating or overly angst style. It’s a brothers-beat-friend childhood tormentor enemy-to-friends-to-lovers and office-romance. It’s kind of on the shorter and fast pace style. Let’s of cute, sweet and sexy moments.

Eli has moved back to take over his grandfather’s CEO position. Marley is still the cute girl he remembers but all grown up. When Eli sets his sights on her she just can’t understand, after all all they used to do when they were younger is fight. I like Eli because he’s an alpha with a big heart and Eli is strong but super sweet, they minx well together.

Like I said very sweet, cute and sexy. Wish there was more of them but this is part of a new series with 15 amazing authors. Can’t wait to read them all.

Not my first read by the author, she is a top 10 favorite and one of my early reads back in the day when I started reading romance. And yes I have read all of her books! This slow burn was worth the wait!

I don’t want to give out too much after realizing what the Blurb gives out, but will say that that is just the beginning. Stella is in a pickle, so a wedding crash is nor would ever be on her radar but her best friend has other plans. Live a little, it’ll be fun they said. Well when your lies get caught and you realize that the person who caught you is the Bride’s brother, things get interesting.
-Stella is a unique heroine, I won’t lie I fell in love with her form the beginning and just loved her. She was unique, quirky, out there, different, sweet soooo sweet. Her little stories, her little hobby, her profession…it just fit so well with her and I loved it. I especially loved her little chocolates she carried around to give out because it can make people happy even for a little.
-Hudson: I had a bone to pick with him for a little then when I found out why I forgave him but was still holding a small grudge against him. When he met Stella at the wedding before the lie and all the truth coming out, they had a moment, a really sweet moment and that’s when I fell in love with them both. He was not only handsome, sexy, smart and just a man who was burned in the worst way, common, but still painful. He did not harbor any hate, he really focused his life on other important things.

That said, I really want to emphasize that this is a SLOW BURN and the moments of sexy scenes are about 90% sizzling and sweet. There isn’t a lot of it but worth the wait. This is more of a story that flows so well together and is beautiful. Every detail, every scene…just plain beautiful. This is my 2nd 2021 MUST READ list item!

Not my first read by the author, it’s been a while since I have but am familiar with the author’s style.

I had so much fun reading this I want to say first because I enjoyed the beginning it gripped me and then all the characters and events, I was invested. This is a office/work together romance with a twist, the way the hero and heroine met was priceless and fun…but everything after flowed so well, they fit so well together, the romance THE HERO IS SWOON-y not at the beginning, at first they both agreed because they are both in the same business and the hero’s company is technically her boss so strictly business. The heroine Tess is really so sweet, loves her life, her family and well what she does, she is a romantic at heart and wants that prince. Liam the hero is business only, real, doesn’t believe in anything but facts and hard work, he is loyal handsome and happy in his life with protecting his work family from well you’ll see. When they decide to explore this between one another, it’s SPECTACULAR. I really enjoyed every page, side characters and all. Glad I was able to review this beauty!

Not my first read by the author and well I have read almost all of her books, so I am familiar and love her style. When I saw she was giving us a holiday treat, I was giddy with excitement, and boy did this book live up to it!

This really took me by surprise it was refreshing and real. Warren the hero is I mean a DREAM HERO I would go as far as say a UNICORN HERO which you can’t find often or ever. He was handsome, sweet, smart, swoony and the biggest heart. Ariana the heroine definitely had a lot happening in her life, something that a lot of people don’t go through and still a lot do. She has her eyes set on her priorities, and love isn’t something that can be brought into that plan. After finding out about he mother, she dedicates herself fully, and when after being the personal shopper for Warren the CEO of the company she works for she finally actually gets to meet him. She wishes she didn’t have to. Warren doesn’t make a good first impression, but that wasn’t the last of him.

This story is as fun as heartbreaking, I enjoyed every scene, the characters and side characters. You get a mini POV from different side characters like the heroine mother, hero’s grandmother and hero’s sister. Very well put together with smooth transitions. I really wanted more but you do get the sweetest epilogue. Lot’s of sweet and swoony moments along with sexy and sizzling ones…so glad Jessica went with giving us this Holiday Romance!!

So what happens when you get snowed in with a hottie and end up having amazing, fun and sexy sex with the man there, then find out that he is the best-man AAAAND also trying to stop his little sister’s wedding? Well an adventure filled with everything Christmas, snow and fun! Krista really knows how to bring you into the book with the words, your imagination will run wild, the side characters will have you hooked as much as the hero and heroine. Warning this will warm your heart and bring out the Christmas spirit and all the feels out!

Not my first read by the author and not my last as always I love Meghan’s books! This one was a good and then a slight bad at the end for me, hence the 4.5 stars rating. Nothing actually bad just personal preference.

A fun heroine, loving and loves her job, and a hero that is very straight forwards, serious and on point…this was so much FUN to read. As Meghan’s books usually are, but this one I was laughing out loud through out the book. The attraction between the two was ADDICTING…the hero was enough grumpy, alpha, sexy…and the heroine, gosh i enjoyed her, she was the type that wanted to move on and make it a better one if you will. Co-workers that has such strong chemistry are bound to tip over the line, this adventure was done in a fun, sweet, sexy and exciting way!

The ending is the only thing that bothered me, and both I and my bookbestie both talked about and agreed, it just kind of…ends. That’s all I am going to say.

Not my first read by the author, little secret but I’ve been reading this author for years and loved all her books I’ve read. So when I saw she was giving us a (The Salvation Society) book I jumped right on it, I really liked all the books of hers I’ve read her writing style a lot and so I just signed up didn’t look at anything 🙂

I fell in love with this from page one, I kind of knew because again I really love this author’s writing style. These characters were mature, sexy, smart…they fit well together and the story line was fantastic lots of suspense and action mixed with a whole lot of romance. Romance between two adults hat have put their careers first hand and okay with that, until they ran into each other…literally. It kind of all went from there, Callum is a bounty hunter and accused of sexual harassment on accounts from someone he brought in and Reagan our heroine is GAH loved her, she is a criminal defense attorney and also they both have someone in common, the heroine’s brother is friends with the hero. So all mixed together you get lots of actions, real REAL romance and everything in between. I would highly recommend this book, can not wait to get a paperback of it and re-read this!

I wasn’t sure what to expect because this is a office romance, but boy is it different. The hero is the oldest of all the brother’s and the TOP man in the company and the heroine happens to be a woman that escaped her last employer (she quit but it was under terrible conditions) and meets a kind man on the airplane who talks her down from a panic attack of her fear of flying and heights. THAT WAS LAYER ONE!Little did the heroine know this man she met has many layers and pealing them off, is a ride worth taking! I can’t wait for more of the brothers, which you will fall in love with from the prequel!

As usual, it didn’t take long for us to be at each other’s throats.

Not my first read by the author, I have read all her books and she’s a part of my BEGINNER TEAM, so it means I’ve been reading her books for years and probably will always read her books. Her writing style is to my liking in all of them and every time she comes out with a new book I get super excited!

Not your average office-romance, no these are not just 2 people that have known each other since they were young but they are part of the bigger rivalry for many years. Weston is a man that carries a lot of burden on his shoulder, the guilt, the unease, broken in a lot of ways. Very sexy tall, dark and handsome, yes, but broken. Sophia is a woman that learned her lesson at age 18, and never again. Or so she thinks, but lines can’t be blurred with the one man she despises, for many years, even if that’s what she has to keep telling herself. When they both fall on old ways, new ground rules are set. that only brought out the fun in the story, until well when all you know is to lie and hide people from yourself, does Weston fall on his old ways? This book is seriously ALL VI writing, so there is JUST that that you’ll love, it’s fun, the banter, sexual tension but also lies and betrayal. After all, was it all really fate?

Not my first read by the author, and I have read many on/off. So far it’s been 50/50 with the author’s books but I keep coming back because the ones I have loved I REALLY loved. This one was something different for me from the author.

I was on the fence about this one, it really started promising for me but the more I got into it the more I was feeling overwhelmed, it starts of in the US and migrates to France which I don’t have a problem with but I sadly have to say that there was TOO MUCH French and accent for me…I don’t mind it at all but this was overwhelming for me. The heroine is a easy going, sassy, true american and the hero is a Frenchman on a mission, rude, broody and very handsome. This is a office-romance type of feel, unfortunately I did not feel this one, just couldn’t connect fully, I kept trying to fully understand all the French and well the heroine just rubbed me wrong, she was just too simple and the hero there was huge potential there. *Just because it did not work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.

Not my first read by the author and not my last, I have read the other books in this series as well and I have to say that THIS ONE TOOK THE CAKE for me, TOP 2020 MUST READ from page 1 through end! I seriously loved everything about it, from meeting the characters, to actions, events…and Gabby the he’s daughter, I want a daughter just like her, sweet, smart, sassy and super adorable and funny!

Not your average office-romance because Nora and Carter have known each other for a very long time. She’s been working for him for a decade, and even was there through out his late wife’s death, and of course her own divorce. So the lines were always there but they were blurred until that one day where ‘THE KISS’ almost happened and Carter couldn’t stop thinking about it. This takes you on a fun adventure of actions, events and little bit of heartbreak and I will warn you this man will spark your panties right off you, wow on the love scenes HOT DAMN to be exact! The outcome is very sweet and I am so sad to see this series end! At least all three books are available to binge read!

Not my first read by the author and I LOVE me some Kenndy books. I also have read the previous 3 books in this series and am very anxious for book #5 the conclusion because this one took me by surprise!

What I want ot say so far is that yes each book is based on the same hero and heroine but you get so much action and the ride along with it…will have you wanting more. This is a political romance, so the only disclaimer I had so far was the romance part that exists but me being a die hard romance lover I always crave a lot…which the author did give me in book 3 I’ll never forget that and absolutely LOVED it…that said I also loved the beginning and in between…this book starts off with a BANG and I wasn’t sure where it was going to go, in which all I never know it’s more a TAKES YOU BY SURPRISE type of books..the good kind of surprise. I don’t want to give out too much because this is a you SHOULD READ FROM BOOK 1 type of read because well you want that build of relationship between the hero and heroine. This one is a little less romance and a lot of action, it has some beautiful romantic moments that will have you swoon right out of your panties! These two are a magnet for one another, when life throws them every curve possible, they not only maneuver it but also always end up at the same path. Just plain beautiful the hero and heroine’s relationship, the events…BE PREPARED!

I am SUPER READY FOR BOOK #5 the conclusion!!
