Not my first read by the author and I have read the previous books in the series. This one I was excited about and it’s a big boy! In all honestly I don’t think it needed a couple of scenes in the book, they were slow for me so it dragged a bit. Other than that there is a lot of action and scenes happening here, lot’s of side characters and life happening. It’s part for me where the ‘romance’ got lost and I was clinging to that little bit when it was between the H&H. It was still enjoyable to read, took me a couple of full days to read & am looking forward to the next one.

This is a heavy rom-com mixed with enemy-to, friends-to, single dad, alpha hero and very expressive out there heroine. I enjoyed the hero & heroine, each in it’s own. I had a few dislikes to the heroine only because she was heavy on the chi and the yoga, it went a little too much into detail for me on that. Laughed out loud many times in the book. The hero is a boxer who is in need of a nanny, has a chip on his shoulder and is a big man with an even bigger heart. They are paired very well, also the hero’s little son is the sweetest and just everything flowed so well. Even if the romance was missing the sizzle was there and worth the wait! I can’t wait for more in this series and hope to go din my next lifetime I get to have this Hero in real life please. Krista make it happen please & thank you!

Not my first read by the author & not my last. I have read the other 2 books in this series and let’s just say they both ended up on my TOP MUST READ list! This one was a little different for me, I felt like the author leaned more towards the younger gen read (I don’t really know how to explain this to anyone aside from it felt more NA YA to me) Don’t get me wrong, it was still steamy and alpha just different form the first two books.

This is a heavy side of enemy-to style and while I do love that trope it felt very much the whole time in this. I think what I just couldn’t connect with, with this trope in this book is the ‘make him or her jealous’ styles. But this is all person preferences for me of course. Other than that, this book was dynamic, long and satisfying. I do have to say that I LOVED the hero more than the heroine, they really fit well together but at times Jules felt very over-powering to me. The hero has the biggest heart and can be rough in the right places and sweet in all the rest. Their banter was fun to interact with also. GREAT ADDITION TO THE SERIES!

Ah this was so sweet and fun! I will admit that at the beginning I wasn’t a huge fan of the heroine but she grew on me fast once she let herself feel. From then on it was all butterflies in my tummy for these two. From their ‘surprise’ wedding to the way she see’s him…swoony, romantic, funny, sweet…you get it all and ALL THE HEART YOU WANT! I don’t want to give out too much in this but will say that it did not end the way I was expecting it, for the better that is. The one thing that I wish it had maybe was a little more angst drama at the peak that is all. It’s a perfect edition to the series & I can’t wait for more! The Beauty & Beast theme in this was everything you’d want!

p.s. the spice in this *heat was turned up past the average point* *fanning myself, especially the SIT DON’T HOOVER*

NEW to me author & books. Because this is a trilogy I am going to kind of sum up this review into one as opposed to 3 different ones. I haven’t read a trilogy in a long time so it brought me back to my good old days first reads. The amazing author was sweet enough to send me signed paperbacks and provide me with the full e-book all three in one version to read. Let’s just say that made it so much easier to just go to the next. I will try and summarize briefly my reviews on each and then as a whole. And this is a suspense trilogy, not many I read, to me it just has to have the right amount of good romance in them to get my attention and these did.

The first book really brings the heat. Mixed with a sexy hero, strong heroine and suspense, it was the perfect mix. But the heroine did hide a secret that I will NOT spoil on here, it will keep you on the edge for sure. I have to be honest and say I was waiting for that…the whole what is it, what’s going on, the author does a great job at keeping you engaged and on the edge about it all while giving you the sweetness of the hero with the heroine. You can’t help but fall in love with them both in this first book. Knowing it was a trilogy I still read to the end of book one and was like WHAAAAT what happened, luckily, I had the 2nd book right off bat and was able to continue my search for answers.

Book 2 you are ready for them to just…something…because even thought they had that INSTA-LUST it was still a crazy ride of emotions. I will say that I am never a fan of the heroine being with another man for any reason, but this trilogy reminded me of the Sylvia Day Crossfire and how much I loved and hated the books so much. Luckily the hero is a a man’s man and we really get the alpha side of him. I was a little less to like the heroine in this book. Even though the author gets more into depth in this book about the situations and the suspense, I just think the different side of the heroine kind of sort of ruined it for me in this. The suspense and little mystery kept me on the same edge wanting to know answers though. The cliffy left me thinking one thing and then the book delivered the final blow.

Book 3 we get a little bit of the lighter (get it light) in the trilogy. I think it was more romance and about the H&H as opposed to book 2 that kept you really on that edge of the seat. The author finishes off the trilogy with answers thank God as well as that sizzling chemistry and passion between H&H. Each book gave us something on it’s own but it fit perfectly together. It most definitely was not my usual read, or not anymore, this was MY read style since the Crossfire but with Trilogy’s it’s always hard to not put it something that to me I just dislike reading. That said, that is my personal preference, and these 3 books gave me a little of everything and I am happy that I gave these a go and would recommend them.

p.s. THE final ending to this trilogy WAS SO SWEET! That is all I will say!

If you know me even a little I won’t repeat myself with Aurora’s books & me. I know every single one of her books like the back of my hand. HUGE FAN! That said, I was so ready for this book #2 in the new series! We get BLAKE the grumpy and sexy friend.

To recap just a little this is a wilderness adventure type of series. There are friends who co-own a adventure business and in Book #1 it’s very sweet and I loved every word. This one I was prepared for because I knew BLAKE was next and he was the very grumpy hunky hero in book #1. But wait, this will break your heart and mend it in the sweetest swooniest ways!

Blake is harboring secrets which is making him to be more uptight, needing to be in control and grumpy. After all he has a lot on his plate, but he takes it day by day. It’s not easy being around people but still feel alone. In comes our heroine who I LOVED from the first moment. Single-Mom divorced beauty who moves back to her hometown, is pretty much at the low point. What’s more is that she goes to cover the front desk of her father’s firm (the receptionist happened to be a sassy grandma who has a better love life than the heroine) and that’s where she meets Blake. It was not a good meeting. The next one isn’t as good but it only gets better. I am really trying not to just tell you guys the whole story because I totally want to. This is very sweet, heartbreaking and there is the cutest little baby and a hunk involved, need I say more?!

If you want grumpy hero, single-mom, swoony and an adventure…this is for you. Also highly recommend reading Book #1 in this series RUSHED!

Not my first read by the author, she is a very top favorite author of mine and I have read almost all of her books! And there is a variety of them! That said, I was a little nervous about this one because the hero is played part of his twin-brother’s book and it was sad as well as frustrating for me. So, when this came along, I jumped on to read it right away. It was everything I expected it to be coming from a play-boy hero! Too bad he finally met his match, in our case THANK GOD he did, the heroine dishes it out equally. They both may be a lot alike than they think!

I honestly couldn’t think of a better song for this book. I could listen to it on repeat while I read this, GAH my heart! This book truly will frustrate you as much as make you fall in love. Now I have mentioned that the hero has a twin-brother who has his own book and they are sort of intertwined (you’ll see when you read it, I am not spoiling anything even the pain) he is very much the anti-hero with a big heart secretly under all that.

Hero and Heroine need to navigate not only their own guilt they are carrying heavy on their shoulders but also each other. It’s all fun and games until lines are crossed and feelings that are unfamiliar surface. I loved watching it unfold, even wanted to smack her her really hard a few times. What he lacks in relationship experiences he definitely makes up in physical. But that isn’t always enough. You also get great side characters from the previous books in series and the interconnected ones. I can’t wait to read more. This one is OFF THE CHARTS SEXY so don’t read this say at the gym like I tried!

Not my first read by the author and not my last. I’ve been a Lani fan for many years and I was so excited about this one, even if she did *smack shock us* at the end.

I think I am still in a little bit of a shock as to this book. First I will say I’d recommend reading the Cross Fit series as to the shocker will make a lot more sense. That said….WHAT, WHY LANI? *insert crying emoji* This was, left me speechless because by the time my gears were running as to WHAT and WHO series this is from part of the Cross Fit Series I WANTED TO SCREAM AND CRY at the same time. That said let me tell you a little about this book, I say little because I honestly will NOT spoil the twist and ending for anyone! I also would highly recommend reading the MADD CROSSFIT SERIES first! In my opinion this book would go much better with after reading at least the last book in that series!

This is a story of monsters and the men that turned into them. We have the hero who is well experienced in life, his kids grown, divorced and living a life of hell in a monster’s body. So why can’t he stop thinking about his best friend’s daughter. She practically grew up alongside his own, same age and all. Little did he know the feelings were mutual, but the world will try to keep them apart. The heroine is a 22 year old who has suffered from child hood, don’t get me wrong she has the best support system….her father and brother, except when she lost her brother she also might as well have lost her father. This one broke my heart because as the heroine is young and has her tendencies to act on that, she is still grown for her age. She’s always had a thing for Mr. Crow just never acted on it, when opportunity presents itself, this is where the she acts her age a little comes in. But danger is just around the corner and not just the H & H learn a lesson in this book.

I. CAN’T. WAIT. FOR. MORE. I knew this series was going to blow me away and be good but I did NOT expect this. A little note to the author: you just had you, didn’t you…had to go and break out hearts?

When Hero finds himself traded, moved to a new city & with no food in fridge in his new condo…he goes out to seek at least one thing he can control food. The heroine finally said yes to a blind date, after a very long time and in the end found herself dreaming of the man that recently walked in who is hotter than sin but NOT her blind date. The gods were in both their favor that day and night, after they spend the best and sexiest night of each of their lives together, fast forward to a few months. That’s where I am leaving the review because, the actions of one night will give you one of the sweetest with a lot of fun and most romantic story.

Not my first read by the author and I have read Book 1 as well as all the interconnected books in this! I was sooooo excited for this one! *happy sigh* The King Family oh how I’ve missed them!

Seth King has a past that no child should ever go through. Coming from that and then coming out at the end, he has a great life now. A career, the farm, his family and friends…then in comes Remi at the local bar. Seth is so drawn to her, but she ends up ditching him. But for good reason. Forward a few days and he finds himself trapped with the heroine in a cabin, all due to her NOT listening to him in the first place. Their one day there is where you fall in love with them together! I think I just loved their hearts, together and alone, they both have over come so much and still they are willing to at least try and put themselves out there. Granted the heroine was a little harder because she is still living her trauma.

The hero and heroine both bring the best out of each other, and together SO SWEET! *SWOON SWOON SWOON SWOON* on the hero too! This is so real, romantic, adventurous, fun and sexy! A MUST READ!

Not my first read by the author, she is part of my one-click author and I sadly have to say that this is maybe the 2nd ever book I’ve read by her that I did not connect with and extremely like. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the hero just had come off a on-off relationship and the heroine’s boss was her ex and they were still so very close. So I was not able to connect to the connection between them. It was hot for sure and some parts I loved and swooned but it just did not cut it for me. And that’s okay we all have our own likes, so this is my personal preference, I would still recommend it for sure, I love this series!

These two couldn’t be more opposite. We have the hero who is straight laced and proper, the heroine who is wild and free, that’s the best way I can describe her. She is full of life and tattoos. She works at the tattoo parlor and the hero is part owner of her brother’s bar/brewery they all own. Their chemistry was very much there but their actions made me lose their connection while reading. That said, these two have a fling and keep it that way until one or the other gets too serious. The ex-gf of hero plays a part in this, as well as the heroine’s boss who’s her ex-bf. Very fun, wild and exciting, lot’s pf steamy scenes and sweet moments.

Not my first time reading this author and I do like her writing style and her DARK. This though, this was a dark of the color dark and then add about 100 x’s more. And then add a few more! I read and like dark romances but this was very twisted, fucked up but also beautiful in it’s own ways.

The darkness in this will break you, and the little hope will make you shed tears.

That is the best way I can describe this book. This is on the line of dark and darker, I can’t explain it without feeling every emotion while reading this, from curious to turned on to in fear and sad. My mind was at war with my libido during this whole book and it brought out all the feelings at the same time…I wasn’t even sure about the surrounding while reading just captivated in the moment. Unfortunately the more I read the more my mind won over, and I think this hero or rather anti-hero was a bit too much in my eyes. The lines were blurred to begin with but he was so far away that I finally realized that liking the kinds of this anti-hero isn’t something for me. I love dark, alpha, dominant, possessive but this one just went beyond that, the punishments, his thoughts, the other woman…made me angry the more I read. It wasn’t so much the situations which may be the fucked up thing about me here but more of the I was missing the actual Romance, yes even in this darkness I wanted that little hope and feeling…I never got it. What I also did not get which I was kind of waiting for to justify it all, was the romance. I know people will say well this is a dark romance but where is the romance part? This review went from 5 stars to 4.5 down to 3.5 and on the verge of it being a final 3 star which makes me sad because I think had I had that romance and affection between the H & H it would have been okay for me, not to mention the fact that the heroine barely speaks at all. I know there was a warning on this book but just not for me.

p.s. you do get a little of that romance at the very end, but for me it was too late. Just in case you’re reading my review and wonder if there was any at all at least. To each it’s own, had I had that sooner and throughout this would be a different review. Best of luck to the book.

Not a new to me author, I also have read all the books in this series. Two things first off: my idiot self did not realize this will be Book #1’s daughter (the hero’s) and when I figured it back out again I about screamed of excitement. And the second thing to get out of the way is that even though I absolutely loved this book I really really really think that the hero did not GROVEL enough. I said what I said!

Lets start with the heroine Winnie like the Poo 😉 she is a sweetheart! Her personality is addictive and her smile and laugh will make you want to too. She is someone who is in love with love. Hopeless romantic through and through, until enough is enough and she makes a bet with her sister for a good reason. She is rehabilitating herself from love. Then Dex the single-dad firefighter ex-marine moves in next door and not only is he hot in a tight shirt but his two daughters are what dream kids are made of. The way he is with them will have you melt your heart even in his grumpy grumpy self! This is YES a age-gap duhh I wouldn’t expect anything else but the second gen to have at least a repeat. In this case if you are starting with this book in the series DON’T! Stop and go back to book #1 because every single one of these books is CAPTIVATING! That said back to the story, so Dex moves in next door and what does a firefighter do when an alarm goes off? Come to the rescue…in this case right time wrong place because Winnie is just getting out of the steamy hot shower and ends up well the neighbors end up seeing a little more than any of them wanted, and one of them didn’t mind of course. This story has so much fun, laughter, heart, romance and action. It’s almost a history repeats itself that means you get a glimpse of Frannie and Mack. I will say that this could have been a 5 plus read for me but I just couldn’t let go that the hero really didn’t grovel enough, in my head that is but over-all the story was sweet and fun!

Not my first time reading the author but it has been a very long time. I dived into this kind of blind and was just going with the flow. And the flow took me to BDSM-ALPHA-TOWN *insert drooling emoji*

I also want to let you all know that I did not figure out nor look hard enough to know this would be a cliffy so there is that. This is a form of office-romance where the heroine is a little clueless and the hero is a lot dangerous! It’s hot, steamy, sexy, romantic and captivating! The hero is one of the big guys, owner, boss whatever you want to call him he calls the shots, the heroine is just trying to get by…enter her working at the same club as her best friend and ending up being the boss’s personal pet. As much as there is heat in this equally there is danger, secrets, mystery and lies. The cliffy-end is INTENSE!

Can’t wait for Book #2!

Not my first read by Teagan and not my last, I have loved her rom-com and about jumped off my seat when I heard she was writing a sports romance because this was everything-teagan-style but MORE! Also, sports romances happen to be my favorite especially hockey!

Hero and heroine meet when she almost run’s him over. YEP! In the middle of no where of all places, and that’s where the fun begins. The hero thought it would be a good idea to drive the piece of junk across states back, and the heroine was in a rush and thought he was a mirage while she was driving down the stretch of road. After almost running him over, what does she do? Gives the handsome sexy stranger a ride, and of course he insists on driving (man much?) so why not, what can happen? Luckily nothing too bad a lot of banter, laughter and refresh for the hero because the heroine HAS NO IDEA WHO HE IS. And he happens to be a big deal in the NHL as well as the news. After spending some time in the car, being on first name bases, when they parted the heroine didn’t know how much she really wanted him to kiss her. But he does. Their next meet is not conventional either, rather more funny, a dating app of all things…both parties been hoaxed by their friends to join.

The hero is truly a sports romance hero, tough, troubled, handsome, sexy as sin and smart…well most the time. The heroine is a sweet woman who’s been burned by the one person you never should, your own father. She’s wicked smart, is a scary movie fanatic (it’s part of her job also, that one is an interesting one) Their romance may not have been from the romance section of the library more of the horror but it was a sweet and passionate one. Their chemistry is crazy off the charts and the events that happens the side characters all fell into place and fit perfectly with the story. I can not wait to read more in this series!

Not my first read, I absolutely love Kaylee and she is one of my ONE-CLICK author’s. That said I have read book #1 in this series and after all these years I was so happy to see that Paisley was getting a book!!!!! She is the daughter of Book #1’s H&H. Def read Book #1 I would recommend that highly.

This is a SWOON and INSTA-LOVE on steroids. I loved it even more because of it, there were times where I wanted to shake P and be like takeeeee it, but then I quickly realized even at her age (22) she was very smart for taking things slow and questioning. After all she is the daughter of her all-star ex-Blaze hero. This was very fast pace love, they are both involved in the industry and lines do get crosses but in this case, they are okay to cross as long as they can keep it professional. Mini Cooper happens to live up to everything I expected from him, the fast, the swoon, the sexy and the romance!!
