Not my first read by the author, and I have read Book 1 in this and have been super excited for this book!
I have had this ARC for a while now and jumped right into to, I couldn’t wait to be back with Ellie and Devlin! That said I have had this review sitting in my head for a little while now waiting to get closer to release to review it. I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting and may or may not have stayed up until 1am to finish it. (p.s. I did do a re-read of book 1 just to get myself refreshed, then dived right in, it was soooo great to be able to do that made it into one large book for me) The best part about this book is that it starts off right where it left off in Book 1 so it captures you in right away and it only keep going…better and better! I was on the edge form the start because I wasn’t sure who to root for or who to trust or believe, we know that Devlin had some more secrets and well Ellie wasn’t ready and neither will you be. It was sexy, romantic, exciting, dangerous and so real. One thing I love about Julie’s books is that it just feels real. I don’t want to give out too much as usual all my review’s are spoiler-free. This is more of a adventure, along the way you learn more about the hero and heroine, some things from book 1 will make more sense or better sense and of course all the SUSPENSE you can love! I can not wait to see what will happen next!!

Not my first read by the author and I have read almost every single book of hers. Love her style and I really love this SERIES! This one was different in the best ways possible.
I don’t want to give too much but I really really enjoyed this one! I was skeptical for a mil-sec because this hero is still married and I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. I was surprised to see that the hero was down-to-earth honest sweet handsome and truly someone I would fall in love with right away! Which I did, heck I fell in love with the heroine too, they fit so well together, when they met it was kind of fate, same place right time, their night spend was sexy and exciting! What came after was a true and true fight but one worth it!
What I loved about this aside that it’s a series so the side characters and previous ones are always fun to read about, but the hero was just honest and upfront, and the heroine was a mix of sweet, strong and vulnerable…she moved back to kind of start over and one night changed everything for her. These two truly go through a fight for their relationship. I loved watching it all unfold, beware of the EVIL B WIFE I mean she was horrible! Highly recommend this series!!

Not my first read by the author, it’s been a while since I have but am familiar with the author’s style.
I had so much fun reading this I want to say first because I enjoyed the beginning it gripped me and then all the characters and events, I was invested. This is a office/work together romance with a twist, the way the hero and heroine met was priceless and fun…but everything after flowed so well, they fit so well together, the romance THE HERO IS SWOON-y not at the beginning, at first they both agreed because they are both in the same business and the hero’s company is technically her boss so strictly business. The heroine Tess is really so sweet, loves her life, her family and well what she does, she is a romantic at heart and wants that prince. Liam the hero is business only, real, doesn’t believe in anything but facts and hard work, he is loyal handsome and happy in his life with protecting his work family from well you’ll see. When they decide to explore this between one another, it’s SPECTACULAR. I really enjoyed every page, side characters and all. Glad I was able to review this beauty!

Not my first read by the author and well I have read almost all of her books, so I am familiar and love her style. When I saw she was giving us a holiday treat, I was giddy with excitement, and boy did this book live up to it!
This really took me by surprise it was refreshing and real. Warren the hero is I mean a DREAM HERO I would go as far as say a UNICORN HERO which you can’t find often or ever. He was handsome, sweet, smart, swoony and the biggest heart. Ariana the heroine definitely had a lot happening in her life, something that a lot of people don’t go through and still a lot do. She has her eyes set on her priorities, and love isn’t something that can be brought into that plan. After finding out about he mother, she dedicates herself fully, and when after being the personal shopper for Warren the CEO of the company she works for she finally actually gets to meet him. She wishes she didn’t have to. Warren doesn’t make a good first impression, but that wasn’t the last of him.
This story is as fun as heartbreaking, I enjoyed every scene, the characters and side characters. You get a mini POV from different side characters like the heroine mother, hero’s grandmother and hero’s sister. Very well put together with smooth transitions. I really wanted more but you do get the sweetest epilogue. Lot’s of sweet and swoony moments along with sexy and sizzling ones…so glad Jessica went with giving us this Holiday Romance!!

NEW to me author and books! I am not new to the world this is written in I actually absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this world, so I was excited when I received this ARC! This is based with the UNTIL COBI book from Aurora Rose Reynolds, and I was happy to get a little more of Cobi and Hadley. That said I will recommend at least reading some or Until Cobi first, to me since I have read the whole Series by Aurora, it was all fine and exciting, can be read as stand alone.
So I can’t say too much on this only because of the way it’s written, don’t want to mess up the story line and give it all up. I was fooled a little into thinking it’s one way but then it hit me and I was shocked to find out the turn it took. In a good way that is. So I will give you a little about the characters, Dean Keller is a man who is determined, smart, sweet, sexy, alpha and a honest good man. Sadie is a girl who loves her job, she’s a ER nurse and just is also a good person, honest, sweet so SWEET and beautiful. When these two meet it’s instant, and their road to together is fun and sweet. I had a lot of fun reading this, I always love me a new UNTIL I enjoyed the story line and loved the epilogue!

Not my first read by the author but still very new to me. I want to explain a little why I gave this a 4 and honestly it all came down to personal preference on characters. Sometimes I just can’t connect with them, I can’t connect with them and the story line, the events, it just is not my style personally so when reading it I can’t maybe understand an action or feeling. The writing to me was perfectly fine, but the combination of the story line and mainly the characteristics of the characters just was not my style and threw me off a little. Not that I did not like them just that they were not my style, I jsut tried hard through out the whole book to get connected but couldn’t.
That said, this is a second chance romance with the hero being the heartbreaker and the heroine a sweet girl who only wanted to be part. Years later when these two run into one another, things get a little more complicated. To me it felt not rushed but not not enough, it just like a casual situation or scene, without being able to connect to the characters I couldn’t connect them together. In the end I did read through and enjoyed the ending, epilogues always make me happy and glad I gave it another chance I just unfortunately don’t believe in reading a style that doesn’t fit you, it’s bad for the reader AND the author. I do wish the author and her books the very best! 🙂

NEW to me author and books. This is going to be a lengthy REVIEW I am just putting this out there from the start. I have watched the movie and this is my first time reading the book, fair warning I have read many review’s about the original language books and was kind of hoping the English version would pump it up a little. Little background so I am foreign myself and speak 6 languages and I have read in many different languages when it comes to romance, this has the potential for romance but it’s more a European version of a book JUST put together. I can’t say that I speak the language of the author so maybe in the natives language the book itself is more enriched, but I will also say that I did not enjoy the movie. Yes the actor was dark and sexy, and the heroine beautiful but I always base my opinions based on the book, hence why I am here reviewing the book. I am hugely disappointed in the translation portion of this story/book…I mean HUGELY disappointed! To be honest the fact that this was a big market movie that shook the nation a little, I was expecting perfection in the English version, what I got it the knock of version, and I don’t say that to be mean just realistic, when reading it was really hard to keep focused, to keep engaged and it actually made it worse for me the more I read. To be fair this does contain a huge huge TRIGGER for me, the hero/heroine being with other people so that didn’t help either.
We all know the actual story because I am certain a lot of people have seen the movie, and yes though the movie was very sexual, the book did contain it as well just not very well. Here is why: the hero comes off as a douche-waffle in the book, there are scenes where he is the weak one, scenes where he is the slimy one, scenes where he is the heartless one and scenes where he is the sweet one. It did not flow well for me therefore all I remembered from the book is how uncoordinated the hero came off. We all loved Massimo the actor but I for one was an ever more lesser fan of Massimo in the book.

I want to very much touch base about the heroine in the book. Having watched the movie, wow what a difference and I mean the heroine in the movie is 10 times better than the actual heroine in the book. I want to emphasize on the fact that this heroine has a heart condition, I didn’t get what kind until they kept giving her meds to go under her tongue (Nitroglycerin) is a medicine used to treat Angina (a symptom of coronary artery disease) to which yes what the heroine was feeling was correct BUT taking alcohol in which the heroine DOES A LOT and I mean A LOT in the story, can cause harm. That said, I really wish the author gave us more about her condition in the beginning, to me it just seemed made up like, ‘oh she ha s a heart problem’ like what, who where and when. Maybe that’s just the American way of me by living here too long but I would like to know that type of things when reading. I could not stand the heroine through out the whole book she was fake to me, blotchy, unstable, weak, just plain weird. The things she did, thought and went through in her mind, I would never want to read about nor meet a person like that. That to me was unstable and unattractive in a heroine.
Aside the fact that I HATED that the hero did things with other woman, okay yes this is a dark mafia style romance so I can kind of get it, not for me but I get it. Massimo kept leaving Laura through out the book, then they would fight, then Laura would smack Massimo SO MUCH it made me angry, at one point in the scene Massimo begged or asked her to hit him, it was not attractive because it just came off at a weird time. Every scene the heroine seems to retaliate, but then it would turn around and they were sweet one each other. The time line was not straight for me, I felt like being the little ball in a ping pong game, transitions I can’t even remember because I was so focus on it being EVERYWHERE. That’s what I remember from this I WAS EVERYWHERE, and not just in the story line but the power struggle as well, between Don Massimo and Laura.
P.s. Could not get with Laura calling Massimo ‘Man in Black’ and ‘Don Massimo’ which I know if a native way of calling a Mafia Boss.
I was truly disappointed because again watching a Movie and reading to me are two different lives, and this was for sure, Unfortunately both for me were in the NO GO ZONE. I get this got a lot of hype and I am sure some will get mad at my review but I am always an honest reviewer no matter who you are, big author, small, new, famous, popular. I don’t care, I read books because I want to truly experience them, whether that is good or bad. I am not bashing anything but simply expressing my feelings towards this. I really was holding out hope for the book and understand that this is originally made and published in the author’s native language, that said, I have also read many books in different languages, some loved some did not, this to me was not well translated, I couldn’t get hooked or stay hooked and some of the words threw me off as well as some sentences.

NEW to me author and books. I was approached by the author to read and review, after reading the blurb I knew I had to give it a try ebcause it sounded like something I would read for sure.
This is a sweet friends-to-lovers heavy on the friends, Theo and Lauren are both in denial even though one is more than the other. There is tension in this, action, sweet, romance and slow burn. When they both cross that line though very sweet with one another, I enjoyed them together. Theo is a divorce lawyer and his parents track record is pretty bad to a point he never really had some stable loving parents/home. Lauren is a good heart, misunderstood at times but a good heart. Story line little predictable, I enjoyed the story and the writing style, glad I gave this a chance.

Not my first read by the ladies, but this is part of my first PNR soo I have been waiting for this book, I really really got into the first book and can’t wait to dive in and get my answers! I will say off the bat that this is definitely more PNR, so Book 1 to me was phenomenal to ME someone who has never read PNR before…and well this book really dives into the PNR and fantasy meaning of it. I want to emphasize that I have never truly read a PNR romance, and this is all new to me…just because it took me a little to get into, I unfortunately do see that even with the power couple ladies, I don’t think PNR in general is for me in a whole bunch. THAT said, I can’t deny that these ladies really out-did themselves with this book…it’s captivating, the words keep you hooked, the characters are exceptional.
Aside from the God and Daemon world, I couldn’t get enough of Professor Maximus Kane and Kara Valari…his perfect little DEAMON! *shivers* the family dynamics in this was like watching a game of tennis, my head was doing back forth back forth and I was hooked! What really captivated me was the emotion and intensity, truly loved THE WORDS because these two author’s really perfected the combo-writing! Very glad I gave this my all!

She’s always had a crush on him, but no one knew that. When lines get blurred because after all emotions are high and well wine flowed easy…well all I will say like the blurb is that THEY get a curveball thrown in…and it’s a tricky continues one.
That’s all I’m saying but really enjoyed the events and the hero heroine relationship and emotional bond connection between them. Something about a younger MATURE heroine who is just so damn sweet gets me. even more when the hero is a handsome, sweet, funny and swoony man! A MUST READ for this one, just plain enjoyed the heck out of this and well worth staying up until 1am to finish!!

Not my first read by the author but fairly still every new since I’ve only read a couple of books of the author.
Sullivan and Clara are something from a dream. Their past was beautifully heartbreaking but their future, that was something to see them come together to. I really love when the author does the ‘throwbacks and history’ in the right way and the right transitions! Both hero and heroine carry so much pain, when the hero finally seeks it, it’s beautiful to have his heart revealed. The heroine will capture you right away, sweet, silent, soft and hear ton the sleeve type. Them together is what had my heart singing and the story line flowed perfectly. Really glad I gave this a try and now I will need to go read book 1 in series and continue with more to come.

Not my first read by the author, she is a top favorite and I have read the other books in the series and well all of her books!
I have to say that as much as I loved this book I also have some reservations about it. First off this hero and heroine are already familiar and actually still married. There was an incident that occurred where it separated the hero and heroine. When their paths cross again it’s not only paved with more secrets and lies but how do they both go from a lie to telling the full truth and save one another? It’s a fine line these two have to walk, here is a lot of ACTION I will say that in which I enjoyed since this series is about all that. I don’t want to give out too much since anything more would give out the story of this, definitely worth diving in, this whole series is. My reservation in this was the heroine and hero at times, their actions and feelings. Aside from that it was a thrill to read. I enjoyed their reunion because the hero is so sweet to the heroine when the romantic side comes out…really swoon to the max!

NEW to me author and books! I had so much fun reading this!
I always love me a second-chance romance because there is something about the history and the known touches…gah love them. That is why when I read the blurb I knew I had to give this a try. Liam and Mia may have ended it on a bad note, but years later when they run into each other again…things aren’t so different from the first time…but they would never tell that to anyone or one another. Both now grown, mature and in charge of their lives…well when Liam wants to get her out of the system, things get a little fun, exciting and lines get blurred to a point neither could stop. Like I said I had a lot of fun reading this, I love their relationship, story line and the side characters. Since this is a NEW to me author I will need to read more of course to get familiar with the author’s words style and writing. After reading this I will give it more shots!

Not my first read by the author and I have read almost every single book and have been following this amazing Series along with the previous tie-in ones. I love them all because you get the TEAGAN brand in each one!
This one was a sweet and TRUE friends-to. Hero and heroine are not only BFF’s but also roommates and unrepeatable, they make fun of each other, are there for one another…and well one night when a very low towel meets googling eyes…and a kiss, everything changes! What I love mostly about this is that the hero may be a geek-ish type of hero but BOY was he hot, sexy and the STEAMY *sweating* But the blurring lines aren’t what really took this duo apart, it was something that takes you by surprise and then just you have to put yourself in the heroine’s shoes of why she felt the way she felt! Really sweet and TEAGAN rom-com true and true!!
