NEW to me author. I originally read the blurb and really wanted to give it a try, and I liked the cover of course.

So this is a NEW to me author and I had some good hopes for this, unfortunately after reading since 2010 I’ve learned to trust my reading instincts when it comes to author writing and tones. It just wasn’t for me. The story line was fine, the characters took me a very long time to warm up to, the connection between the hero and heroine was a 50/50 to me, I will say that it is a rather short read but packed! I do appreciate having the chance to give this new book a chance and wish the author the best.

NEW-ish author to me. I have read one other book by this author and wasn’t too much of a fan as in just wasn’t my style but I also don’t judge author’s by one book. So, I really liked the cover in this, I enjoy dark romance and mafia romance especially so I wanted to give the author another shot. Unfortunately this was not for me, it’s more the author’s style and some to do with the tone of the story.

To me mafia romance need to be really researched and done right. That’s just my personal preferences, otherwise it becomes a little either ridiculous or too much for me. This was not up my alley when it comes to the style of mafia romance, it’s not particularly a bad thing, I am sure a lot of people do enjoy this style….I don’t even know how to explain it, basically it, to me sounds like the story is just told, there wasn’t any particular thing keeping me there, like someone was just telling me a story. Another problem I had with this and with mafia romances (which most are and I get it I do) but I like the more dedicated mafia hero’s or rather antihero in these, if you’re not sleeping with the heroine I don’t want to see you sleep with other useless woman characters, it’s a huge turn off. That’s all I am going to say on that because I could go on for days on how much that a turn off is. So I do appreciate getting another chance to try the author and wish the author the best.

Not my first read by the author, and this is me diving into Book 2 of this duo!

Now in Book 1 I was not NOT a fan of the heroine, I just could not connect with her, I couldn’t connect the hero and her together. Luckily she does redeem herself towards the end in here…I still had a feeling about her that’s the best way to describe it, in the beginning but comes out in victory. In here we get to see more of a H&H connection which is what drove me. We get to experience the reason behind her being so adamant on her life choices, and well Cal our hero, you just fall more and more in love with him. I just wish I had more to go off of in the GOOD sense about the heroine because I was pretty bitter for a long time in the second book…took me a little to get more warmed up to her. All in all I’m glad the heroine came through and the HEA was beautiful, sweet, adventurous and fun.

Not my first read by the author and I have read a couple of books by her. This one the cover alone is just so beautiful!

I will say that this was a WILD ADVENTURE I was very pleased with the characters, trope and events! Violet the heroine is the sweetest, best outlook on life is nothing like the rest. She is beautiful to no bounds but doesn’t even know it. Lets also talk about how much I PERSONALLY love a SMART Heroine! Dawson the hero was different, I’ll start with that. Different in a emotional you’ll hurt for him way. I wasn’t too sure about him for the longest time but then he came through. This author is excellent at bringing you into the book, the houses, the streets, locations, side characters…THE EVENTS. That’s what I loved the most.

Thank you to the author for my ARC again I appreciate it and am looking forward to more from you.

NEW to me author and books. As I have read almost every single book in this world, I was excited for this one as well because the heroine is the sister of one of my favorites. And this one fit perfectly into the world and I enjoyed the author’s writing style and words.

The heroine Selma is the sister of UNTIL DECEMBER Hero. She is a twin and the softer twin at that, I’ll be looking forward to Until Sejla’s story as well. This is a insta-love, the hero Tavonte is a sexy piece of hot chocolate with lot’s of marshmallows added. I seriously LOVED him, he was all man, alpha, smart, demanding, sexy…everything about it was just appealing. Sejla is the quiet one, reserved, works a lot, loves to read…just a a beautiful kind soul. Them together was simply beautiful. Tavonte is ex-military and home for good, he is not only dealing with having to find a place to settle but also his Mom who is AMAZING that wants to see him happy and married, oh and grandchildren hehe then there is his little sister who is a big trouble maker. She’s 16 so you know there will be lot’s of angst and fun. Again, this fit really well into the world and the timeline and of course the events. Absolutely loved the characters, and am looking forward to reading more form the author.

In this one we get to meet the youngest Kincade sister, Chase Kincade. She is something of a different breed because she is so young but so goal and career driven that anything else for her is just in the way. Her older sister’s may have found love but to her, career comes first. She wants to be someone, prove to herself and everyone that she can do anything her big sisters can and more. Even though her sisters give her a hard time about being too much of a workaholic, it get’s to Chase and the fact that all are so competitive, she can’t loosen anything now.

But what happens when Chase finds a letter that was addressed to their company, but 5 years too late? Well of course she has to go and figure it out, make it happen, win win win. By win I mean she just is competitive in nature and getting down to this would not only help her sister see she is the best but also free publicity for the company. Well, then she meets Gunner and boy did my heart melt. These two will remind you what true young love can be. Gunner is the sweetest, swoon worthy and kindest hero. Their relationship and connection is just so pure.

Very emotional ride on this one, I’d have tissue handy. I really was nervous about a young heroine and so when I knew this sister was coming, I was nervous since I am not a fan of young heroines and have had terrible experiences with them. Luckily this author came through and it was just hard not to love both the hero and heroine.

Aspen is the sister of the previous book heroine and Conrad is one of the younger brothers that each got a book. This was more of a, they’ve been around one another for a long time now but never really really looked at each other. Until one day when their proximity was down to having to spend a few days in their cabin (to prepare everything for Grant and Auroras wedding) then things get heated in the best way. Their tension was HIGH sexually and mentally. They really SAW each other and all it took was a TOUCH for Conrad to see Aspen differently. Aspen really puts up a good fight and what I mean is the ANGST and her stubbornness is at an all time high in this. After all she watched Conrad for over a year talking about how he will always be a bachelor and making fun of his brothers that got hitched. What’s a girl to do than think it’s just a mini fling. Well, Conrad is not only handsome and smart but DOESN’T GIVE UP. He really shows Aspen a different side of him HE didn’t even know he had. But will they be able to come to terms before a accident occurs?

Sweet and Charming! I was really hopping to get a full of these two because I was so curious if we would get anything and I am glad we did. Short obviously since it’s a novella, but packed with a punch. Brianne Prescott ‘THE SISTER’ in all the boys, is hardworking, honest, loyal, sweet and beyond beautiful. Dr. Hudson is handsome, down to earth, swoony and genuine. I loved these two together, from the way Hudson swooped in to save Brianne down to their first kiss and the need for her, you feel every single emotion. Everything about this novella was beautiful.

Not my first read by the author and I have read enough to know her writing style. So this one too me by surprise because her heroines tend to me what I like, this one NO GO on the heroine I am sorry I tried everything, I stopped reading then came back the next day and tried again, I equally disliked her. And yes it may have gotten a little better towards the end as always but something about this heroine pulled me the wrong way. Enough to where I don’t think I will be reading the other books in this series. Like I said I was really surprised that I did not like a Kendall Ryan heroine. I guess snot every book is for everyone!

This is a common book I would say. Not in a bad way necessarily just I have read this plot style and trope so much that it blended in with the rest. It was rather predictable with some twist and turns I didn’t see coming. The heroine is the new owner of her late-grandfathers hockey team, one where her ex is also part of. So that’s where my dislike came in a lot, to the heroine she had a happy and great relationship with her ex, there wasn’t much and she could say about him. Aside of course from what he did to end it all. That just rubbed me the wrong way. The hero actually is not part of a sport at all, but the new security service that the heroine now needs being the new owner and a lot of people not agreeing. To me the hero was running after the heroine like a little puppy, nothing she did was wrong in his eyes and well me not liking her turned me off fully. I don’t mind a hero pinning for the heroine but when it’s this style it’s not MY style. That’s all I am going to say, because I really don’t want anyone to get discouraged, maybe this style is something that you enjoy. Either way, towards the ending I really enjoyed it.

NEW to me author and books. Here we are again, I legit have been signing up for every single HEA Aurora World book and I am glad I signed up for this one because it was everything I expected and more!

It was that Insta Love you get from the Alpha world I was looking for so instantly I started to enjoy each page. Emilia is a strong woman who is out there taking care of her brother when their mother was never around and then up and left them. When she needs a 2nd job to upkeep with bills, that’s where she meets Rex at the strip club (he is the bartender) but Rex also worked for the Maysons painting houses but deep down he is a artist (painter). It only took one look for Rex to make her his, even if they haven’t even spoken yet. Emilie is a little more reserved and stand off-ish for good reasons. But she never stood a chance against REX.

Unusually I am not too big on rock-star romances (only a select few I would read) but this blurb alone really got me, and I am so happy I gave this a go! I will most definitely read more by this author and well going back to read Book 1 & 2 in this series! This book has so much depth, corrupted career incites, romance sweet sweet romance, action, life changes…I mean it had a lot of variety and the author does a fantastic job expressing it all.

Connor is a man who had to give it all up, for good reasons that is but many years forward when he is able to peruse his life dream (music) he now is part of a very successful and popular band. Ronnie has been “in the business” if you will since she was a child. The actress world is not what it really seems to be form the outside. This is where you get some incite and it will get shocking. That said, these two actually since it’s a slow burn, took a while to really connect because of their career paths. But their together path was JUST SO DANG BEAUTIFUL! That’s the best way I can express it, they each have their own lives but together they have to overcome so much to get to their HEA! Highly recommend!

Not my first read by the author and I LOVE ME SOME MF books so I am a huge fan, she has been an author I have been reading since the early 2010’s so to say I am a fan is an understatement. I so so so wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it truly deserves it. MY HEART! I don’t even know where to begin with this review, I want to give it out all but keep it all away because you MUST experience this, the writing, the characters, the events THE HEART!

Before I start I want to express how much I loved the side characters and their banter and especially Archer (the heroine’s brother) hahah I loved everything about him in this, little more than the other side characters. Okay let’s get into it. We have Jules the heroine who is a young woman (mid 20s) that has overcome so much already from when she was just a baby. Her outlook on life is so beautiful you’ll catch yourself smile or just shake your head because you want to share her enthusiasm for finding the good in everything. She may not have any dark secrets or past but she comes with so much heart you won’t know what to do with her. Luckily Grant out hero does. Well, not right away because this broody, rough and closed off hero who considers himself broken not just physically but mentally is a hard egg to crack. Julie is up for it because she’s been noticing Grant for a while now and she may be innocent but her thoughts are not 😉

Everything about this book down to the title and the cover that matches it all so very well, I was in love with. From page one! I started reading at 7pm stayed up until 115am and crashed and then immediately continued when I woke up because I just needed it that bad! This book is very addicting, heartbreaking, beautiful, romantic, sweet, sexy (oh so sexy) and just a perfect fit for the series! I can’t wait for more and you bet your bottom I will be getting a paperback of this!!

Super excited for Archer’s story next!

Not my first read by the author. Krista and I go way back, but it seems like yesterday when I read her first book and here we are many books in and I still get excited to read her releases. This one is a duo and I was surprised we were getting that from Krista do I was naturally excited.

A little about the book: Hero and heroine share a past as in they have know each other since they were kids. The hero is the heroine’s older brother’s best friend. A boy that had always ignored her, even as they grew up into the teens and early 20’s. Have tissue right up front because it’s starts of with a event that will have you tear up and cry, but when tragedy strikes Mabel does what she’s always dreamed of and sets off. Her idea of a life is in the big city, being involved in the influencer life, traveling the world. Bigger and better things than the small town she is in. The hero is a home-boy he wants to stay in town and change the world starting with his town, make a name for himself and grow the town. After all it wasn’t only his dream. 4 years later and the infamous Mabel is back from the big city, with her tail between her legs. Mabel ended up exactly where she ran from and what’s worse that a lot had changed in the four years from her own father, to the farm, to Cal the hero and his family and situation. When Mabel and Cal have to work together, they really do work together well but of course tension is at it’s highest. Cal had already rejected Mabel once, can she risk herself again for the same outcome?

*I want to say after reading the book, okay, so I waited to finish book 1 in hopes that it might change a little for me, the way I feel about the heroine. So here we are. This is not a negative towards the boo but a personal feeling. I want to address that in the very beginning there wasn’t much of the H&H, I didn’t get that connection I was looking for so that started the rocky feeling for the heroine for me. In the end she was just really mean, to me. Like I understand someone would want to leave a small town and be in the big city, but her dream was to make it as a influencer, do the whole like&follows to travel the world style and personally, I can not stand those type of people because usually they just come off as city snobs. And well, she definitely acted like a city snob and just I don’t know heartless and mean. Again, I did not get that connection between H&H before all this so when the author put them together, it was more awkward for me to read them together. I guess I was missing the emotional connection between the two. Really bummed because I’ve read all of Krista’s books and had that connection so this took me by surprise. Again could just be me, but I cringed reading her because she just came off a bitch to me. Again really sucks because I freaking enjoyed everything else, the idea the plot the words and scenes. There is no sexy scene in this book (aside from a 1/4 one) so very slow burn, and of course it’s a cliffy. Fingers crossed the heroine can somehow redeem herself for me in book 2. I feel bad for not loving her because I really enjoyed the story I just couldn’t connect with her at all. (Don’t kill me Krista I was shocked actually that she came out of your writing 😉

Not my first read by the ladies! I also have read the other books that are interacted with this one. And I have to say that this one is MY FAVORITE! It was so much fun to read, I ended up one-sitting reading this and really really enjoyed the show!

Dax a.k.a officer hot-pants and Bree the teacher are a opposite couple. Dax is very serious, takes his job serious, taking care of other people. Bree is a little more carefree, a teacher to very privileged high schoolers, she has learned to grow some tough skin. These two meet in the most unconventional way ever, haha I won’t give it out because you have to live through it but it was fantastic and hilarious. This one actually turned out a lot more EMOTIONAL and DEEPER than I thought. Dax was fun and amazing but he always held something back and I was not expecting to happen what did towards the end. Little bit of danger mixed with a confused but come to realization Dax, called for some intense scenes.

Dax was not the typical hero, maybe more like a broken knight but a hero in all the same and Bree may have had a guardian angel looking out for her at one point or another, but this time it was her knight that came to the rescue! P.S. this KNIGHT also comes in a form of SEXY-AF sexy scenes so yeah *fanning self*

Not my first read by the author, and she happens to be one of my favorite authors. This something new from Kelly I was super excited for, so happy I had the chance to early read and review this!

I don’t know where to start on this, I guess first of this is a long book so you will get your hearts fill. It’s heavy on the angst and slow burn, small town, second-chance, H&H have a history. Willa and Aiden have known each other since Willa was just a kid. Aiden is the big brother’s best friend and off limits in all the ways. That didn’t stop Willa from dreaming of one day being his, married, children and all the 1.5 things a young girl dreams of. That dream gets shattered in unexpected ways. Forward almost a decade and Willa is older, understands more and is leaving behind a stupid marriage that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. But what is a woman supposed to do when the man she wants and loves doesn’t want her? Their re-union may have been a bitter sweet one but the events that happen next and through the end are well very unexpected and beautiful.

This one took me for a ride, like a rollercoaster ride!! Because H&H knew one another for when they were kids there was so much history there that I hung on to all the words in which dragged me to all the angst to a point where at 11pm i wanted to scream at my kindle. There were good and bad moods while reading this. The bad ones usually consisted because the hero needed to be smacked hard or the heroine needed to be nudged out of the awkward zone she placed herself in at times. All in all I really enjoyed this, lots of emotions running through, lot’s of maybe triggers too because it really deep down is the most emotional book I think I’ve read in a while now. You’ll enjoy this fate written in the stars on in the orchards in this case, and be warned that Ben (Heroine’s little son) and Aiden are the cutest pair in the freaking world, my heart went pitter-patter every time!! You’ve been warned of the swooning!
