Not my first read by the author and if you know me even a little YOU KNOW I love Kaylee’s books, so I was excited to devour this! One sitting, one day read!

These two have a long history together, and even some firsts. But Rip is 2 years older than McKenna and when he finally waited to make his move, she was accepted into her school of choice and who was he to stand in her way of life and dreams. Rip is Laramie’s older brother who also happens to be McKenna’s best friend, so see where I ma going with this. It’s a beloved trope of mine, that can turn wrong for me but this one was beautiful and I ate up every page.

When McKenna makes it back to town, she is still harboring her crush on her best friend’s older brother. Little did she know, Rip has been caring around the same feelings. I loved watching these two come together, because of their history everything is just so smooth and comes together. Now I will say that maybe there were a couple moments where I wanted to smack both of their heads upside but luckily they both redeemed themselves right away. There was just something so sweet about all this, the hero RIP yes he was manly, handsome, smart, hardworking, loyal and sexy but his vulnerability at times for McKenna is what melted my heart. As always you get the full Kaylee effect of words and style which is why I insta-click on all her books without even reading about them!

NOT my first time reading this author and I LOVE her and her books, but I also love this series. I will say off the bat that the cover model (yuk face) not my favorite, I don’t find him attractive in one bit plus for the hero here he was waaay too young in my eyes so I imagined my very own Jake! Aside from that, I loved everything about this!

I don’t know where to start on this but the fact that I just really LOVED Jake, maybe I like the older hero’s better but something about him, the way he carried himself and spoke and everything in between drew me in. Honestly this is how I would have pictured him and the way he is. Now this is a very complicated story because Jake was a very young first time father, so his daughter is already married and all settled. Now the heroine here is the hero’s son-in-law’s sister/mom. If you’ve read this in order you’ll understand what I mean but I really don’t want to spoil that book for anyone. That said, these two fit so well together and even after keeping their relationship a secret for many reasons, the way it comes out and blows up was unexpected and perfect. And yes I read this in one day one sitting, it was really really that good!

New to me author. I have so far read all of the books in the series and have been excited about this one, but only a few chapters in I realized that this is my least favorite, more like hate, trope: love triangle.

Without giving out too much the heroine and hero have history from young age but never were together. Neither knows each others feelings for one another. now the heroine is engaged to another man, happily so until circumstances but she never breaks it off with him before she kind of dies things with the hero even if they may be part innocent. and that alone makes me gag, it’s unattractive to me and a huge turn off. I wanted to DNF the book right then. 

I couldn’t enjoy any of the now happening because there was a mystery suspense theme which I love,  but when the H&H were getting  with one another, it wasn’t a good transition for me because of the 3rd party(s), so I ended up skipping a lot of pages to still read and then I gave up. It just is not sweet to me that a woman wears a engagement right even after “breaking things off” even though she had told him taking a break, but to wear the ring just because it’s easier than to answer questions from people, is unattractive to me. Then there is the hero’s ex problem, that also slept with the heroines’s ex fiancée. *cringe cringe cringe.* Then the final straw is when the hero came home after a shift that went wrong and the ex showed up at his house, the heroine and the ex did a oh he chose me shit, and the hero *gag* even had a thought of how it might have been fun to have both at the same time for that moment blah blah blah sorry but I just couldn’t finish it. For this being a small town sort of sweet with happy HEA this was not something I expected, and wouldn’t read any of the authors other books because that’s probably what most contain. It only got worse for me the longer I tried to read it, even writing this review made me cringe. Not for me and honestly I’m questioning the rest of the books in this series after this one. so disappointing because the first 3 were very amazing.

NEW to me author and books. I am so glad I gave this a shot because it was simply sweet and beautiful!

This single-dad with the most adorable little girl story is packed with so much emotion, sweetness, sexy, adorable moments, nervousness and everything in between. It felt real and you can side with the characters on their feelings and thoughts, but the best part was them coming together. It was really interesting to watch them around each other, and get together I don’t know how to explain it but it felt so real and I was invested page after page. Everything kept me engaged and I loved it. And here I say it but HOT DAMN on the sex and spicy scenes, I was blushing in a few. All in all I enjoyed it for it being my first read and I will be reading more by the author.

BRAND NEW to me author and books. I saw this cover first and then read the blurb and really wanted to give it a try, sounded like something I would enjoy reading. Although the writing style was nothing something I was able to click with I did enjoy the story and characters very much. It was fun, cute, suspenseful, romantic and sweet. The H&H are very different yet same in sort of ways. The hero is very protective, alpha and man-ly if you will while the heroine has been keeping to herself and alone, but the heroine in this was very strong as in kept herself going and up during everything she has and is going through. There is a little but of a adventure in this and some twists. All in all I am glad I gave it a shot and wish the author the best.

Not my first read by the author and will never be my last haha I have read close to every single book of MF and also know this family and interconnected books very well. This one I was excited for because TANK had me interested from the first book in the series. I will also like to mention that MF tried to yet again kill us with another heart-wrenching beautiful story. The Wicked Men; where can we get one please! Loyal, fierce, alpha, smart, sexy and just amazing men!

I don’t even know where to begin, I felt everything in this book. From the you will cry you eyes out within the first 10% to the melting of your heart by the way Tank is with the two most adorable little girls, to everything. This is not just a hero and heroine are broken, they are shattered, sadly share something that you wouldn’t wish on anyone. Tank really is the ultimate bookhusband, caring, loyal, sweet and attentive. Leah has always lost so much and overcome well more like grown up faster than usual and she was happy with her life, she had the girls and River. When a horrible tragedy occurred, I cried my eyes out and thanked god that Tank was there. It wasn’t an easy road before but sure a even harder one after. They both had a lot held within their hearts and to come together, it took some patience and love. Loved everything about this, the hero the heroine, the girls, River, side characters, THE WICKED FAMILY…it was a beautiful mesh. I really don’t want to give out too much, it’s a road you want to take with the H&H even if your heart will break and cry for the loss but also will bloom and be happy for the smiles Tank brings to the girls!

Not my first read by the author and also I am very close to have read every single one of her books. I have read all the books in this series as well. And since i found out Emmerson was getting a story I WAS SUPER EXCITED. This is a friends-to-lovers, best friend’s older brother, shared history romance!

To start off with this was a very light and sweet read. The hero and heroine have know each other and have bene in each other’s lives for always it seems. Landon the hero is the older brother of Hailey who is best friends with Emmerson. So that’s where they are all connected. H&H are the best friends and always have been, though out the years neither one would admit their love for one another. Well fate had other ideas and when a ‘fake’ everything crosses lines, it’s going to be up to Emme and Landon to decide which will it be, which road will they take? It was such a fun and sweet adventure to take with these two, nothing was going as planned but everything seemed to be turning out how it was supposed to be.

Looking forward to the last book #8 in the series!

NEW to me author but I have had a few of her books in my TBR for a while, this one I saw on a sign up and just had a feeling, and I AM SO GLAD I DID! Gosh, I was up until almost 1am finishing this. I never wanted it to end. I also did not know this had a PARANORMAL feel to it as well, and I was happily shocked how much I loved it in every aspect.

My View: I don’t even know where to begin because I rather not spoil anything because in the end the beginning will make so much sense. This had all the dark and suspense feels, the alpha hero, the young heroine that was lost…in reality and her mind. She does not have any family and a best friend that is both a friend and foe. She is a artist with a unique eye and there is a reason behind it. She can’t seem to fall asleep without pills and when she does, she has horrific nightmares but also arousing ones. That’s all I am going to say about that, because nothing is as it seems and when you think you maybe have it figured out, you don’t! The paranormal in this really took me by surprise at how much I liked it. Everything was a suspense, mystery, unknown yet I couldn’t take my eye off of the pages. I connected with everything this book is. THE HERO, I want to talk about him only a little because well we don’t want to give out to much. He is the tall, dark and handsome AND LOYAL man that you want. A anti-hero if you will but with reason, he would never hurt his PRETTY GIRL. There are events happening in this book that even though I do not have triggers regarding this but it’s gets pretty gruesome in a beautiful way if that makes sense. Really wish this was a trilogy, I’d be happy with that for sure but I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Little about the book: This is a dark, suspense, mystery, paranormal ROMANCE. The heroine is a young talented and beautiful woman. A woman lost in her own mind and dreams, a woman with a unique look into art and a love for animals. She has this cute little dog who is just plain adorable through out the book. She is living a life she thinks is normal, when nothing is as it seems. She doesn’t have a lot, no family, n real friends, but she was left something at least, from her late uncle who she has never met but she is thankful for, to be able to live out her dream as a artist. The hero is everything you want from this style of book, dark, mysterious, all about the heroine, smart, mighty and handsome. Their dates are the sweetest and the SLOW BURN in a real burn! If you want to hang onto every page and not know what’s coming or know what anything is, mixed with beautiful pain, love and sexy?! This is for you, I would ever so highly recommend this book!
