If you know me even a little I won’t repeat myself with Aurora’s books & me. I know every single one of her books like the back of my hand. HUGE FAN! That said, I was so ready for this book #2 in the new series! We get BLAKE the grumpy and sexy friend.

To recap just a little this is a wilderness adventure type of series. There are friends who co-own a adventure business and in Book #1 it’s very sweet and I loved every word. This one I was prepared for because I knew BLAKE was next and he was the very grumpy hunky hero in book #1. But wait, this will break your heart and mend it in the sweetest swooniest ways!

Blake is harboring secrets which is making him to be more uptight, needing to be in control and grumpy. After all he has a lot on his plate, but he takes it day by day. It’s not easy being around people but still feel alone. In comes our heroine who I LOVED from the first moment. Single-Mom divorced beauty who moves back to her hometown, is pretty much at the low point. What’s more is that she goes to cover the front desk of her father’s firm (the receptionist happened to be a sassy grandma who has a better love life than the heroine) and that’s where she meets Blake. It was not a good meeting. The next one isn’t as good but it only gets better. I am really trying not to just tell you guys the whole story because I totally want to. This is very sweet, heartbreaking and there is the cutest little baby and a hunk involved, need I say more?!

If you want grumpy hero, single-mom, swoony and an adventure…this is for you. Also highly recommend reading Book #1 in this series RUSHED!

In such a short time, he’s become important in a way that I wasn’t sure anyone would ever be. He’s accepted me for me, pushed when I’ve tried to pull away, and stood steady when I’ve felt like the tidal wave of emotions he’s brought up would send me under.

Not my first read by the author or the series, I have re-read all her books 100 times so safe to say I love her writing style and all her series and single books! That said I was super excited about April because to me she was kind of a rebel but little more wild and sophisticated. This book really took me by the best surprise, and not only because Maxim is the son of my absolute favorite hero HIS DAD KAI!

Maxim is Kai & Mia’s son, and boy was he all his dad with a mix of his mom. Strong, sexy, confident, smart, arrogant and still very romantic and sweet in his own way. April is Asher and November’s baby (these two are the first and beginning of the series) that said she is a little more independent, sophisticated and carefree wild…she just knows her self and body and works it all very well. When she gets a call from her uncle asking to help out Maxim to find a new home and possibly a new business to open, she is hesitant because the last time she really remembers him is when she was 16 and him 18 and he gave her her first kiss. A kiss she would never forget but it was a hurtful parting. She chooses to be an adult and agree, only to be confronted with not a boy anymore but a confident sexy man. April can control herself of course…or can she. They meet at a bar that she wanted to show Maxim to purchase from old friends of hers who own it, she is reminded of her ex who happens to be a lead singer of a popular band. It ended bad and she truly was moving on and not even giving it a thought again, except that’s how ex’s like to play, always try to come back to your life when you’re at your best. April is having none of it and when she meets Maxim at the place, they end up leaving to his hotel for a drink and to talk. The place being so packed Maxim decided to take it to his room because they would have more privacy. When April is near Maxim her stomach ties up gets butterflies but she must control herself, after all he did do what he did back in the day. One kiss (and what a damn kiss) changes all that.

I am going to stop here because if you’ve read ARR’s books you know that if I go on I would give out the book entirely, and TRUST ME when I say you do not want that with this one. It’s one that will have you swooning, laughing, feeling their chemistry, their kiss *insert heart eyes* I truly truly felt all the words ARR wrote! You do get to enjoy the glimpse of previous characters including November, Asher, Kai, Mia and more. By the end of this all I wanted was to right away re-read it and needed more of them. When I say Maxim is his father I mean that in the best give you tingles in your tummy way.

Feisty Confident Heroine, Sexy Alpha Hero, the BOOM, mystery, romance, suspense, action, laughter, swooning, steamy scenes….a TOP 2021 MUST READ for sure!

Not my first read by the author but she is very new to me, this is only the 2nd book I’ve read by her and boy did I fall in love with this one as much as I did with Book #1! There is something said about the hero and heroine having their own issues that are still lingering when they get together and the chemistry explodes. Also the title makes sense pretty fast and then you realize why and you get excited that it does make sense but also sad for the hero in the same time. This isn’t a typical relationship between hero and heroine. The hero alone has his own share of frailly drama and bullshit along with a personal defect he is dealing with. It honestly isn’t but that is how he sees himself. The heroine isn’t usual as well, she has her own share of drama and daemons except hers is displayed for the world every day. You wouldn’t think that these two would be a pair but broken people heal other broken people. Their chemistry is off the charts, there is humor in this and it will make you chuckle and kind of have angst for the heroine to finally figure it out. ALSO he calls her Bee so there is that! If you could ever FEEL the words this will be that book!

BUT secrets are not meant to be kept. And these secrets are not as expected and even more painful when you get to it all. It’s heartbreaking and bittersweet, I cried multiple times in this and my heart was affected in all aspects! GAH! This book truly moved me, from the characters, the story, the good and bad…truly a addicting book to dive into! P.S. start with Book #1 you will equally love it!

NOT my first read by the author and I have read all of Amy’s books and am a HUGE HUGE fan! She is one of my perfect safe author’s that I would read anything from! Her writing is unique and captures the beauty from the pages!

Let’s get started with this beauty, first off I want to say that I couldn’t have more excited to get a new series from Amy but one of my favorite combo’s too! Trent & Eden were addictive…from page one! There was something so beautiful in all the broken that I couldn’t stop reading.

Story: Eden is a woman just trying to help her father keep his dream in hence hers as well. After her sister’s betrayal she will do anything to keep her life going, even if it means throwing herself into the lions den. That being Trent’s nightclub, the minute he walks in and spots her, he KNOWS she not only doesn’t belong there but looks like a dream. A bright dream he doesn’t deserve. After a little banter and the heroine showing her backbone, the hero is surprised but also intrigued. After all, she is something he wouldn’t even dream of trying to have. The heroine starts working at Trent’s club for the extra money, little did they both know fate had a big hand in this in all the ways. They may look different and have grown up differently, one light one dark…their souls were meant to be.

This story includes angst, passion, love, danger, hurt, laughter and HEART! I was ready so fast I needed to slow myself down. I loved everything about each character but especially Trent the SINGLE-DAD who would give anything to protect the ones he loves. His adorable little son, his brothers and the deep passionate love he has for Eden. It’s so beautiful, painful, sweet, romantic, sexy, dangerous…everything you need! I can not wait for more! I have a feeling this whole series will become my TOP 2021 MUST READs easily!

Not my first read by the author, I have read enough of her books throughout the years to love her work. When I saw something new in the works I knew I had to dive in. So glad I did!

This was the perfect mixture of romance, writing, realness and action. You get the world of Crossfit and how it fits into people’s lives, someone who truly loves it and in this case lives off of it. There will be beautiful romance, sweet seduction and all the suspense! The hero Taos is a retired Cop turned Crossfit Part Owner (with his best friend) so Taos get’s roped in to teach a 6 week course, I say roped in it’s because the hero is more a silent partner, but he agrees to do it. The heroine, okay I LOVED HER, she was smart, beautiful, sassy, strong, vulnerable in the best places and someone who went through what she did, I was proud of her in every step she did. The coming together of these two was well awaited and so anticipated!

I loved all the characters, side characters (especially the heroine’s sister who thank gosh is next in line) and of course the action! This was full of suspense and action I should say. The hero retakes cases because of what it occurring in town, and well the heroine has a secret but it’s only a secret because the hero doesn’t remember. After all it’s been years since the incident. You throw in a very annoying ex-wife and you got yourself a book that I was hanging on to page by page!

Not my first read by the author but this is my 2nd book ever & I was waiting for it because the first one in this series blew me away. SAME! Is all I can say for this book!

Where do I begin? Oh, how about the fact that the HERO is not only broody, alpha, big, mean looking, sexy as sin, dirty, smart, loyal and protective! Yeah! That said this is a fairy tale story with a dirty twist! The hero Rhys is ex-military who now does Personal Security for a living. And he is one of the best. The heroine Bridget (yes I LOVE her freaking name for this) is well a Princess. When her old bodyguard needed to be replaced, in comes the hero. From the moment they met it was war. But all’s fair in love & war right?! That’s exactly what this delicious book was, slow burn, angst, enemy-to, dangerous, mystery…it really had it all and I was hanging on to every page like a little puppet just read for more. These two DO NOT get along, I think what they enjoyed the most is to rile each other up, one way by him calling the heroine PRINCESS and her calling the hero MR. LARSEN. But Rhys was there to do what he does best, so from the beginning he let’s her know what his rules are. But rules are meant to be broken, especially by a Princess.

What I enjoyed the most in this is the build up, every time you think something will happen either romantically or action wise you don’t get what you expect. I also loved the dedication, loyalty and ROMANCE in this! There were few bumps but I am happy to let you know that the hero is all about his princess and well he can be a demanding hard man. (pun intended) When these two meet in the love-circle SHEEEESH the steamy heat radar is off the charts with this one. I think I blushed at 1am reading this. Needles to say, it is a long read but a beautiful one. It run’s it’s course over a few years and there are so many new’s, twist and action…truly was PAGE GRIPPING!

I am slightly nervous for the next one because I have a feeling they might actually kill each other. Stella & Christian are next and let the fun begin! p.s. Stella is the Princess’s best friend and she was fun to interact with in this book. Christian is Rhys’s boss and a total A-HOLE MEAN type of Alpha. That’s all!

This author is fairly still new to me but I have read Book 1 in this duet & #BOOKDRUNK is all I can say right now! I started it late at night and stayed up until 130am to finish. #sigh For obvious reasons since this is duet I would recommend reading Book #1 first!

This really jumped right into where it left off, and everything after felt like I was flowing on a cloud watching this play out. This is a dark romance but when I say dark I mean a sensual sexy style, the first one included a lot of action but this was all about Elijah & Charlotte and I FELT every single page. Not wanting to ruin too much and not make much sense because this is a 2nd book to the first…THIS was mystifying, romantic, dirty, page-turned, gripping and heartbreaking. The sacrifice Charlotte made, the length Elijah was willing to go to protect her, mindlessly creating a barrier around her…everything made sense in the end and nothing was as expected.

p.s. this ended worse than a cliffhanger, so beware: emotions will play part, don’t throw your kindle! Sad and Emotional HEA but will forever stay with me! #trulove

Not my first read by the author and by now I sure hope if you know me even a tiny bit you know how obsessed I am with Aurora’s books and I have read them all and re read countless times. That said I was excited to get something NEW in hopes we still get the old school Aurora and SHE DELIVERED!! Phew!

Cybil the heroine is the sweetest and just loved her. After her ex fiancée just up and leaves her, she is stuck with a Couple Retreat in the Montana Mountains tour that is non-refundable and so she jumps out of her comfort zone despite her best friend warning her not to, after all Cybil is not THAT girl that goes out of her comfort zone. When she gets there it starts off on the left leg but turns out to me so much more than she could have hoped out of a retreat. The beauty alone has her mesmerized. Tanner out hero here COULD I HAVE FALLEN MORE IN LOVE WITH HIM? No, because he was the perfect mix of BOOM & NEW. He is a man that comes from nothing, literarily and figuratively. No family but his best friends who are exactly that. When he runs into a feisty little one he is shocked to be rejected. When they run into each other again, there is no way she can say no. The adventure these two go through next is what had me on the edge ready faster and hanging on what will happen. I really liked the side characters too. The heroine’s bff is a little over the top but all in love, and I got to say I saw a little rebellious Aurora from a side character that I almost really wanted to just kill off….and he is one of the one that will have his book, that’s all I am going to say about Blake 😉 Both the hero and heroine come from a past of course, the heroine lost her mother at a young age and the hero never had family or parents. So their heart to hearts really pull at the strings, painfully beautiful so to say. But the way the hero is with the heroine, SWOON SWOON SWOON city!

This book really is full of adventure, heart, action and just plain sweet and beautiful down to the last page!

Not my first read by the author and I knew from the blurb then the cover that I will enjoy this. And boy did I enjoy the heck out of this, from page one. Usually I am not a CELEB HERO or heroine type of fan but this one was beyond perfection in that trope, hence why it made it on the TOP 2021 MUST READ list of mine! The only and I mean only hang-up which is personal for me is, that there is really no Epilogue. (angry face at that)

Hero is Patrick who is a well known actor and celebrity. He recently got into a little bit of a pickle regarding another celebrity (female) and the agents are out to repair his image. In comes the sweet, down to earth, beautiful waitress. Norah has noticed the handsome actor, but always gave him his privacy after all she could only imagine he wants to for once just be in piece and eat at a restaurant. But when he comes up with a offer she really CAN’T refuse, she doesn’t give it another thought because Norah is selfless and this is a huge quality I loved about her in the book. Both the hero and heroine really you fall in love with them even if at one point that involved a late night and a stupid HERO i wanted to cut him a little, I moved on from that fast Paddy! Yes that’s what they called him. That said, Norah uproots her life for the next 6 month and honestly the journey is hard yes, adjusting, accommodating and well trying to have a conversation with the handsome actor, turns out to be a lot harder than Norah imagined. She is very open and upfront, another quality to love about her and well Paddy he is very scowl-y and broody…in a sexy way yes but still. Their journey may seem easily mapped out but it’s nothing of that. I enjoyed every page, getting more of their lives and how they came together. I ended up loving every page and yarned for more. LOVE KYLIE and her unique way of writing style where she sucks you in and then you are just left with a #bookhangover and needing more!

NEW to me author but I have had a few of her books in my TBR for a while, this one I saw on a sign up and just had a feeling, and I AM SO GLAD I DID! Gosh, I was up until almost 1am finishing this. I never wanted it to end. I also did not know this had a PARANORMAL feel to it as well, and I was happily shocked how much I loved it in every aspect.

My View: I don’t even know where to begin because I rather not spoil anything because in the end the beginning will make so much sense. This had all the dark and suspense feels, the alpha hero, the young heroine that was lost…in reality and her mind. She does not have any family and a best friend that is both a friend and foe. She is a artist with a unique eye and there is a reason behind it. She can’t seem to fall asleep without pills and when she does, she has horrific nightmares but also arousing ones. That’s all I am going to say about that, because nothing is as it seems and when you think you maybe have it figured out, you don’t! The paranormal in this really took me by surprise at how much I liked it. Everything was a suspense, mystery, unknown yet I couldn’t take my eye off of the pages. I connected with everything this book is. THE HERO, I want to talk about him only a little because well we don’t want to give out to much. He is the tall, dark and handsome AND LOYAL man that you want. A anti-hero if you will but with reason, he would never hurt his PRETTY GIRL. There are events happening in this book that even though I do not have triggers regarding this but it’s gets pretty gruesome in a beautiful way if that makes sense. Really wish this was a trilogy, I’d be happy with that for sure but I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Little about the book: This is a dark, suspense, mystery, paranormal ROMANCE. The heroine is a young talented and beautiful woman. A woman lost in her own mind and dreams, a woman with a unique look into art and a love for animals. She has this cute little dog who is just plain adorable through out the book. She is living a life she thinks is normal, when nothing is as it seems. She doesn’t have a lot, no family, n real friends, but she was left something at least, from her late uncle who she has never met but she is thankful for, to be able to live out her dream as a artist. The hero is everything you want from this style of book, dark, mysterious, all about the heroine, smart, mighty and handsome. Their dates are the sweetest and the SLOW BURN in a real burn! If you want to hang onto every page and not know what’s coming or know what anything is, mixed with beautiful pain, love and sexy?! This is for you, I would ever so highly recommend this book!

Not my first read by the author but I have only read one other and it’s been a while. So I dove into this as new to me. And BOY WAS I NOT READY. I don’t read dark romance often but this blurb and cover just had me wanting to reach through the screen. So glad I picked it up and had the chance to read it early. As you can see below this did make it on my TOP 2021 MUST READS!

My feels: The book really starts of with a bang….and after that I was not expecting anything but going with the flow. It was emotional right of the bat and only got more emotional and intense. Suspenseful, addicting, dangerous and heartbreaking. That is the best way to describe this whole book. The heroine was just plain beautiful, quiet, dealt a really shitty hand in life, lost her mother and the only thing that she has left is a old cello that she plays at night when the theater is closed (she works at that same theater) but little did she know the devil himself was watching her, listening to her melody she produced that soothed his soul. I really was not prepared on what will happen when they actually first met, I won’t be giving away too much even though I want to because it was so ALL THE FEELS. I felt every single emotion, the connection between H&H, the hurt in Hero’s life and his alpha-ness (is that a word?) I mean he was strong, assertive, sexy, dark, mysterious, demanding yet with the heroine strict in a romantic but stern way. I just really fell in love with everything from page one, my idiot self did not look well enough to know this is a 2 or more book part and so when the cliffhanger came I was not ready and DMed the author asking her how she dare haha. CANT’T WAIT FOR MORE for sure!

About the book: This is a dark-mafia romance, there is killing and more. The hero is THE MUSICIAN and the heroine his LITTLE CELLIST. It’s two different souls that happen to be more related than they think. The hero is very good at what he does, but his weakness is the heroine and the music she produces. One night when he makes the mistake of gifting the heroine something and speaking with her. She spooked and things proceeded to go a lot faster than planned. After all the hero has known the heroine for a few years, she just didn’t know any of it. After losing her mother and not having a father in her life, she really just lives minimal and tries to take it day by day. Sad, depressed, alone, lonely…but day by day. When things seem to pick up THEY REALLY pick up, you are catapulted into a world that might scare you a bit but you want to be part of!

Not my first read by Corinne and not my last, and yes I have read almost all of her books including the first book in this series, THAT KILLED ME and this one woke me up and then killed me again. That’s where I would like to start, Corinne WHY why do this to a woman who is a hopeless romantic with a weak heart?! You explain yourself right now! When I say this is a tear jerker HAVE TISSUE handy for sure. The sad part about all this is that it’s so beautifully broken you can’t help but be happy with tears! Corinne you SHOOK MY WORLD with this book and now I have a major #bookhangover!

A little about the book: I will not be giving out any spoiler not even a little because let me tell you when I say this needs to be experienced THIS NEEDS to be experienced. If you’ve read book 1 you know that this is the hero’s little sister and his best friend. Yes, this heroine was young and crazy in love with the hero (no matter how much the hero was her brothers older best friend) one night changed it all. Fast forward over a decade and Stella is still living a lie, day by day just to get by. Is she dead inside, absolutely, but she will not ruin anything for her family. They are have had a rough years with their father who is a horrible person, controlling them like little puppets. When Stella and her brothers form a plan, it’s going to be sweet! The hero Jack is *tearing up* he is not only broken but so just deep down in pain. His soul, I would never wish the pain he endured and endures with Stella to anyone. When one wedding day just SNAPS and part of the truth comes out…nothing is as it seems. Years of pent up emotions, feelings and pain all come to the surface. The only question is if Stella and Jack can face it together!

This story was heart-rending, I mean I cried my eyes out the entire time. I felt every pain, every sad smile, every sad laugh, the emotions I can’t even explain! I can’t wait to read more and get a little more glimpses of them two! Will forever be my favorite CORINNE book to day! If you want your heart to be ripped out and slowly put together one tragedy at a time, if you want to feel the love between two people who are meant to be in every sense, if you want a beautiful relationship not just between H&H but the siblings and side characters, if you want to FEEL THE MOVE this is a book for you!!

NEW to me author and books. This book can be read as a standalone. The blurb is what caught my eye and I had to give it a god and try, suspense dark romance is kind of a favorite of mine. AND BOY WAS IT A GOOD ONE!!!!!

I don’t even know where to start on this. At first I was a little worried because I have a thing for NA YA romances (this one is not a YA) but the heroine is on the younger side, luckily she was the perfect combo of young and mature. What I loved about this book is that there is no the H&H making each other jealous by actually condoning acts with other characters, ex’s and so forth! That’s huge for me in a dark romance! This had everything a dark and suspense romance needs: older broken broody and dark anti-hero, a younger but mature sweet and sunshine but sassy heroine and all the ACTION you need! And don’t get me into the sexy scene HOLY HOTNESS!! All in all I will say that I will be reading more by the author and can’t wait for more in this series! #bookhangover

A little about the book: Alex may be your typical anti-hero but he has a twist, he is dirty, honest, knows what he wants, takes control, beyond smart but the hurt he has inside his heart can’t be explained. Ava is just trying to finish school, with her overly protective brother always on her back, she just wants to live life, see the good in people and be loved. She may see the good in people but she sees more in Alex. Their relationship is different, forbidden but filled with filthy thoughts, actions and so much heart. The way Alex is with Eva even in the harsh reality moments or words, it’s beautiful in it’s own way. Alex holds a secret that I didn’t even see coming, everything hits hard towards the end and I won’t lie I wasn’t sure which way the book was going to go, it broke my heart so much but also I had a huge understanding of Alex’s actions. Their chemistry is off the charts in all the aspects, the scenes are intense, the sex is dirty in the best ways and the love…well, little ol’ Ava teaches Alex something about love! Here is a little teaser for the sexy scenes:

Not my first time reading the author, I am a big fan and I love this series and well all of Natasha’s book. That said this beauty did make it on my TOP 2021 MUST READ list which is very short this year so far. You will need tissues handy with this one!

First of I want to say that this is kind of a 2nd gen H&H because we’ve read about their parents now it’s their turn. This broke me in so many ways and not going to lie, took a while to piece me back together. Emotional, suspenseful, forbidden, sweet, romantic and addicting! That’s the best way I can describe these two along with the story line. What I loved the most is the emotions between H&H but also on their own. Lot’s is happening here but it will feel like it went so slow after you’re done reading. I won’t spoil anything as I am always a no-spoiler reviewer BUT i want to because it’s just so painfully beautiful. p.s. If we can have it recorded here that I would really love to see Natasha’s give us a full on NEW series but a SUSPENSE and even a MYSTERY romance…I really love her suspense romances because they are equal amount of each and even thought it rattles you, it sooths you with the love.

Little about the book: Chelsea and Mayson are meant to be. Mayson is the mysterious man, older, harder and just basically never even spoke more than two words to the heroine. But that did not stop the feelings from forming for her. From the day she met him and on, she has been fascinated with the quiet brooding man, imagining what it would feel like to be held by him. Mayson on the other hand has never seen a more beautiful woman than Chelsea but with his baggage there was no way he would ever taint her beauty. When Mayson falls in the hands on Chelsea there isn’t a more secure place to be. From them watching the sunrise together to Chelsea promising Mayson to show him the beauty of the colors in the sunrise to their first kiss to the end.

Again, have tissue handy and be prepared. There is a death scene if you’re triggered but nothing else but pure good writing.

Not my first read by the author and I LOVE ME SOME MF books so I am a huge fan, she has been an author I have been reading since the early 2010’s so to say I am a fan is an understatement. I so so so wish I could give this book more than 5 stars because it truly deserves it. MY HEART! I don’t even know where to begin with this review, I want to give it out all but keep it all away because you MUST experience this, the writing, the characters, the events THE HEART!

Before I start I want to express how much I loved the side characters and their banter and especially Archer (the heroine’s brother) hahah I loved everything about him in this, little more than the other side characters. Okay let’s get into it. We have Jules the heroine who is a young woman (mid 20s) that has overcome so much already from when she was just a baby. Her outlook on life is so beautiful you’ll catch yourself smile or just shake your head because you want to share her enthusiasm for finding the good in everything. She may not have any dark secrets or past but she comes with so much heart you won’t know what to do with her. Luckily Grant out hero does. Well, not right away because this broody, rough and closed off hero who considers himself broken not just physically but mentally is a hard egg to crack. Julie is up for it because she’s been noticing Grant for a while now and she may be innocent but her thoughts are not 😉

Everything about this book down to the title and the cover that matches it all so very well, I was in love with. From page one! I started reading at 7pm stayed up until 115am and crashed and then immediately continued when I woke up because I just needed it that bad! This book is very addicting, heartbreaking, beautiful, romantic, sweet, sexy (oh so sexy) and just a perfect fit for the series! I can’t wait for more and you bet your bottom I will be getting a paperback of this!!

Super excited for Archer’s story next!
