His college friend, Maren, needs a place for her destination wedding and Oliver offers the resort. Not my first read by Corinne and not my last. I have also read all the other books in this series and am sad that this one is the last one.
First of i want to get a couple things off my chest first. 1. don’t let Corinne fool you, this is a still very emotional book, i baked my eyes out 2. there was a slight huge dislike to me in the book, only because it just felt really awkward. i don’t like the being friends with the ex’s especially when it was not a bad parting. that’s all I’m saying. okay, now to move on to my review.
I honestly predicted a lot of it but it was still fun to watch it all unfold. Fake-Marriage tropes are a fav of mine so I was excited. The H&H actually know each other and are friends. When the heroine is in a bind, the Hero truly steps up…after he says No. What seems like a good idea and a good cause, really just complicates everything. What do you do when you start falling for your fake spouse? Run with it, and not did they. I really liked when they both let go and just be, because their chemistry is beautiful. I fell head off heels in love with both of them once they let each other in a little. They may have been doing things back-ass-wards but it was the best backwards that could have ended. You will cry in this, this hit home for me a little more & it was hard not to ball my eyes out. It’s funny, sweet, romantic and heartfelt! A true Corinne book!

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. I would know. I’m coming home with a brand-new ring on my finger. My wife? Ryan Bell. We’re polar opposites. She’s sunshine and happiness. I’m grumpy and scarred—literally. We could get it annulled and no one would be the wiser. Only problem? We posted about it online, and it’s already making headlines. I can’t afford to get that kind of attention and tank my career, and Ryan needs my help too. We make a plan: stay married for one year, play our roles, and divorce amicably at the end. No harm, no foul. Besides, there’s no way the beauty is going to fall for the beast…

Not my first read by the author. And I have also read the previous Book #1.
Ah this was so sweet and fun! I will admit that at the beginning I wasn’t a huge fan of the heroine but she grew on me fast once she let herself feel. From then on it was all butterflies in my tummy for these two. From their ‘surprise’ wedding to the way she see’s him…swoony, romantic, funny, sweet…you get it all and ALL THE HEART YOU WANT! I don’t want to give out too much in this but will say that it did not end the way I was expecting it, for the better that is. The one thing that I wish it had maybe was a little more angst drama at the peak that is all. It’s a perfect edition to the series & I can’t wait for more! The Beauty & Beast theme in this was everything you’d want!
p.s. the spice in this *heat was turned up past the average point* *fanning myself, especially the SIT DON’T HOOVER*
“You got married on your divorce-cation?” That would unfortunately be correct. I was hanging with the girls, celebrating my divorce when I saw him, my crush, sitting in the corner of the bar all alone. Being single and looking for a wild night, I asked him if he wanted to join me. To my delight, he said yes. Drinks were consumed, fun was had and then . . . one drunken conversation with a cranky gondolier in Las Vegas led to an Uber lift through a drive-thru wedding chapel with the incredibly hot, British bad boy, Pike Greyson. On paper, it seemed like I hit the jackpot. And if I wasn’t fresh from a toxic marriage, I would have absolutely noticed the finer things about him. But I wanted nothing to do with being married, so when I arrived back home from my eventful weekend in Vegas, the last thing I expected to see was a new doting husband already moved in. I asked for an annulment, he pulled a Ross Geller and said no. That’s right, he said NO! Instead, he asked for three months to prove we could be good together. Insanity clearly knocked him in the head and the only way I could convince him to give up on our sham of a marriage was to show him just how wrong we were for each other. Only problem with that was, he saw right through my every prank, every trick, and every yearning emotion I attempted to mask.
RELEASE DATE: Januray 11, 2022
Not my first read by the author but it’s been a while. Heck she was once my insta-read author until she i don’t know to me changed courses and it turned out more than 3 of my read by read of her’s happened to be a huge dislike to me, I stopped reading the author. I picked this up because I just wanted to try again I guess. And to my not surprise I ended up really disliking the heroine. The hero was great, little naive at times but still a man’s man and sexy, strong. The heroine pretty much off the bat annoyed me, along with one of her friends. I won’t say which one because it doesn’t matter but the duo and individually got me very annoyed. I think I really wanted to love this that the banter and back and forth got boring for me. It was fun at the beginning then it just went on and on, I was missing the romance for the first half of the book. It was funny sure, but I guess I was just hoping for a little more. Again, that’s why we can write reviews to give our honest opinion. Without the shade! That said fake marriages to me can go either way and this one just wasn’t my style.
The hero was supposed to be with another, then one night in Vegas when he runs into his co-worker’s sister who he knows goes out of her way to hit on him but he won’t do anything about it because her brother and him are not on best friends terms, barely friends. So when he runs into her and decides to throw caution to the wind, there are drinks involved, body parts, sexy times and a wedding. This works out for the better for the hero but not so much since she got married on her divorce-cation. You know I honestly think that if the Heroine was more likeable I would have rated this a 5 plus must read but I get not giving in standing your ground but she very much just basically over-powers the hero and that’s a huge turn off for me in books. I won’t go into more details because as you guess it, it ends how you predict it will. I feel horrible about not being able to connect with yet another book by the author and I think I am done for a little while, but in the future you never know.

Isaac I’m about as straight-laced and by the book as they come. They call me Numbers, the man in the office of Burgers and Brew, the restaurant and bar I co-own with my friends. Routine and spreadsheets, that’s how I spend my day. I’m a creature of habit, from the designer clothes to the same girlfriend, I crave the pattern I’ve become dependent on. Until said girlfriend breaks up with me for the umpteenth time, and I find refuge in a woman who is my exact opposite. I’m intrigued and completely out of my element, yet that doesn’t stop me from spending time with her. Even if I consider her off-limits, something about her calls to me. The problem is I just might lose a friend because of it. BJ Most of the time, I would never look twice at Isaac Thompson. He’s all suits, ties, and expensive dress shoes, and I’m…well, not. My time is spent at the tattoo studio I work at, day and night, designing badass ink for clients who want the best. I have no room in my life for a relationship, nor do I care for the messes they always create. Until Isaac finds me stranded on the road, and I end up inviting him inside. Now, I can’t stop thinking about him. He’s so different from any man I’ve ever known, which is why we decide to keep it casual and fun. Let’s just hope I can keep feelings out of the arrangement, so I don’t get burned.
RELEASE DATE: December 7, 2021
Not my first read by the author, she is part of my one-click author and I sadly have to say that this is maybe the 2nd ever book I’ve read by her that I did not connect with and extremely like. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the hero just had come off a on-off relationship and the heroine’s boss was her ex and they were still so very close. So I was not able to connect to the connection between them. It was hot for sure and some parts I loved and swooned but it just did not cut it for me. And that’s okay we all have our own likes, so this is my personal preference, I would still recommend it for sure, I love this series!
These two couldn’t be more opposite. We have the hero who is straight laced and proper, the heroine who is wild and free, that’s the best way I can describe her. She is full of life and tattoos. She works at the tattoo parlor and the hero is part owner of her brother’s bar/brewery they all own. Their chemistry was very much there but their actions made me lose their connection while reading. That said, these two have a fling and keep it that way until one or the other gets too serious. The ex-gf of hero plays a part in this, as well as the heroine’s boss who’s her ex-bf. Very fun, wild and exciting, lot’s pf steamy scenes and sweet moments.

NEW to me authors. I got to be honest as always and say that I do not remember why I requested for this ARC, I must have been in the mood but I am glad because I really enjoyed these two sweet short stories. The other things that I kind of messed up on is the fact that I did not read any of these author’s original books I THINK I am not sure though if these are on it’s own stories or from previous characters, so I was wondering the whole time about that.
4 STARS -> WEDDING WONDERLAND by Samantha Chase: This one was a very themed and super cute story about the Hero & Heroine and the time of the wedding. The groom has some strong words on waiting and the bride wants to make her groom happy but also is stressed about planning a wedding so soon. What follows is a fun adventure on two souls that are meant to be and all the obstacles they have to overcome to get their official happily every after.
5 STARS ->DESTINED FOR FOREVER by Stefanie London now this one took my attention from the start, I liked the author’s writing style and everything. The characters were fun to read and complex enough to keep my attention. The story line is a common one because the heroine just got broken up with and is going to her cousins wedding and the hero is her long time from childhood crush attending the same wedding, they make a pack during the flight and what follows is a sweet, snowy, Christmas feel romance filled with cute scenes, romance, laughter, heartache, realness and THE FIRST KISS *swoon*

Not my first read by the author and I have read some of the other books in this series. This one I was nervous for because I kind of hand an idea what was coming. It was very intense and action packed with scenes, I think I was missing the romance + heat a little in this one. Under the circumstances of the story I do understand it but that’s just my personal thought on it.
The hero here is the sweetest man alive, he is generous, smart, sexy, handsome and just all around the best guy can be. The heroine is a woman that comes with a past that’s tainted and complicated. These two have actually known each other for a couple years before anything proceeded. The heroine is the ‘big boss’ at the safe house in town and the hero happens to volunteer there on top of his actual job. When a situation occurs, the hero does not hesitate to be there for the heroine. Now this is where it gets complicated I think, because the heroine past is really a rather dark one (not that the hero’s isn’t. they are equally both tainted in their own color) but hers happens to come up from the dark and try to not only ruin the life she has build but also take away people who mean the world to her. A offer happens to slightly save the situation until everything and I mean everything goes against them, will they be able to stick it through or will their own personal darkness ruin it all?
I really think that this was something I was not expecting, the feelings it brought out in me, the story over all. As much as I was fascinated, I also wanted to throw things, be angry with them, smile and feel the first real kiss…I was all over with my emotions in the best way of course. I will be going back to see which ones I have not read in the series and definitely read them.

He doesn’t do relationships. She doesn’t do flings. Everything they thought is about to unravel… Frankie When you say you’re a sexologist, people imagine Marilyn Monroe. They don’t expect a woman who uses a wheelchair. As the host of the All Access Podcast, I’m breaking barriers, crushing stigmas, and creating sexual connections that are fulfilling for my fans. I’m like cupid, but with pink hair and fewer diapers. Only, I’ve hit a snag. A lovely listener wants some advice about accessible rope play and I’m drawing a big fat blank. Which leaves me with no option but to get out there and give it a go. Which is how I meet Jay Wood—rigger, carpenter, and all-round hottie. I’d be open to letting him wine and dine me—only Jay isn’t my type. He’s not a one-girl kind of guy. Monogamy isn’t even in his vocab, and I’m not a woman who’ll settle for being second choice. But the closer we get, the more Jay has me tied up in knots. And it’s making me think, maybe I could compromise and accept a little Wood in my life. Even if it’s only temporary. Jay Frankie’s funny, intelligent, and ridiculously sexy. This should be a no-brainer. A little fun in the sheets, and a little romp with some ropes—simple. Only the infuriating woman is asking for more. I’m not that kind of guy. I wouldn’t even know how to be that kind of guy. I’m the definition of easy. It’ll be fine. We’ll be friends. Just friends. So, why does my heart feel frayed? And why is it I can’t help but consider taking the ultimate leap of faith—tying myself to Frankie. Permanently.

“Fuck it.” I tossed my cell away, closing my eyes as I strocked my dick, desperate to know if the woman who looked like a rainbow would taste of sugar or spice. As I spilled into my hand, one thought solidified. I need to taste her.
NEW to me author and read! I picked this up because the blurb intrigued me and I really love the cover! That said this is a NEW to me author so it’s always hectic trying to get used to their writing style and so forth. This was definitely a cute read, different from what I am used to reading, more real as in womans-fiction type. We have a heroine that is open, honest and beautiful…she meets the hero when her podcast needs a hands on experience to talk about, and the hero is the perfect man since he already teaches BDSM and KINK classes. But this is a little bit of a twist because they aren’t running to be together as in fate, but just honest that one the heroine needs and wants the relationship but the hero is not good at them and has sworn not to get into it again, but wants to try with the heroine. So their journey is a little backwards and slow burn but in the sweetest way.
I really liked that the author brought out the best of the heroine all while still us getting to experience the ugly side of being the type of disabled the heroine is. She has such a free and open spirit you forget about the fact that she is bound to a wheel chair. The hero really brings out the heroine even more so their duo is dynamic! This read is a mix of woman’s-fiction and contemp romance, so it was a little hard for me to get into it, at times there was a lot happening including a lot of side characters, that’s a down fall for me with this book but aside from that I really loved the idea, story line, H&H and their naughty sweet funny chemistry.

Not my first read by the author and I knew from the blurb then the cover that I will enjoy this. And boy did I enjoy the heck out of this, from page one. Usually I am not a CELEB HERO or heroine type of fan but this one was beyond perfection in that trope, hence why it made it on the TOP 2021 MUST READ list of mine! The only and I mean only hang-up which is personal for me is, that there is really no Epilogue. (angry face at that)
Hero is Patrick who is a well known actor and celebrity. He recently got into a little bit of a pickle regarding another celebrity (female) and the agents are out to repair his image. In comes the sweet, down to earth, beautiful waitress. Norah has noticed the handsome actor, but always gave him his privacy after all she could only imagine he wants to for once just be in piece and eat at a restaurant. But when he comes up with a offer she really CAN’T refuse, she doesn’t give it another thought because Norah is selfless and this is a huge quality I loved about her in the book. Both the hero and heroine really you fall in love with them even if at one point that involved a late night and a stupid HERO i wanted to cut him a little, I moved on from that fast Paddy! Yes that’s what they called him. That said, Norah uproots her life for the next 6 month and honestly the journey is hard yes, adjusting, accommodating and well trying to have a conversation with the handsome actor, turns out to be a lot harder than Norah imagined. She is very open and upfront, another quality to love about her and well Paddy he is very scowl-y and broody…in a sexy way yes but still. Their journey may seem easily mapped out but it’s nothing of that. I enjoyed every page, getting more of their lives and how they came together. I ended up loving every page and yarned for more. LOVE KYLIE and her unique way of writing style where she sucks you in and then you are just left with a #bookhangover and needing more!

New to me author, well not very new I have read maybe one or two other’s by this author but it’s been a while so this is definitely NEW to me.
This marriage-of-convenience had me swooning, laughing, enjoying and romancing! These two figured out the best way to help one another out, by of course getting married…I mean why not, it’s the best way, they are already childhood best friends what could go wrong. After all it was simply a….exchange! What really went wrong here is that they were too comfy with one another, too good at this fake-ness so the whole town actually believed it. Rumors here and there, hero and heroine started to question it and both wanting to guard their hearts from getting actually close and believing it could actually work.
Lot’s of HEART in this book and that’s kind of what fueled me, I enjoyed the hero and heroine together, the sides, the events, and just made me happy to read…not triggers of mine in this so that was an extra bonus…simply a beautiful story of two people who think they have it together after a plan was formed but they forgot one thing…fate!

Not my first read by the author and I have read plenty to say that I love her works. Her Dark Romance way is on another level. That said I love you Monica but my god was the first 20% of this HARD for me to read. I won’t lie but I am kind of sick of Willow and Saint in all this and was hoping they’d fade away and not have to be involved especially her like she did. It truly to my bone made me sick, I’m sorry to have to say all this but it’s the truth and I absolutely hate anything related to the hero or heroine willingly and in front of one another be with other people, I know it’s a dark romance but I won’t lie when I was expecting less of that in this book so the first 20% was hard to swallow down and I had to take a break from reading for me to calm down. Maybe I invest too much in the characters but that type of stuff is a HUGE HUGE HUGE turn off for me. That was so not necessary in my mind. I’m going to need a hot minute to be able to continue but I pray that it doesn’t get bigger into THIS than it did.
Okay at 30% and I take it back what I saw was horrific but what happened to Ella in that bedroom, I think I actually threw up in my mouth, that was utterly disgusting. I don’t even know if I want to go on after this…I’m sorry after she realized her plan backfired I would have blown my cover or I don’t know tried harder but that THAT was fucking disgusting to read in all the levels, I felt bad for her but I was more disgusted!
Oh God Alek, you failed Ella so hard ;'( and poor Ella you plan backfired with life. *sad sigh*
This is not going to be a pretty review because I can”t emphasize enough how much I feel like this is just a 2 book continuance of All The Pretty Things because I was already annoyed with how much Saint and Willow were in part 1 and now this, this took it to another level. I get it I do but to be honest I was over Saint and Willow with their books and was okay to see them in Book 1 but did not expect them to be this much THIS MUCH in book 2 already, I roll my eyes every time he shows so much affection to Willow and that kiss, EW no I don’t care who you are but that was not necessary not was it in any way sad or accepted, to me that is. I am not a happy camper and only barely at 40% which sucks because I was really looking forward to the conclusion of ALEK & ELLA but what I got so far is I don’t know, I honestly don’t know. I jut can’t justify their love because I thought we were past that but keep coming back to it. I personally could not focus on Alek or Ella for the whole 40% of the book.
The worse part for me in all this is that right now at 56% I can’t form feelings for both of them, too much has happened and when i mean too much i mean A LOT and I just can’t how do I express it, I can;t feel the connection between Alek and Ella anymore…which to me makes it like i’m just reading words. That beginning really shook me and I am now here lost…as they seem to be. The boat situation was kind of slow going and I can’t get the romance feeling anymore which really sucks because I was SO LOOKING FORWARD to that here…all I feel right now if whiplash from the yacht situation.
Now getting loser to the end and I gotta say one thing I AM A EMOTIONAL READER I really invest myself into these characters that’s why my reviews are different, I tend to review as I read because of my emotions and this proves it. But I haven’t been disappointed in a while and it has noting to do with the author’s writing but the scenes, outcomes, characters…just plain was not ready for this and not in a good way. The scene on the yacht after the kids ordeal (you’ll see what I mean) really had me baffled due to the fact of what had just happened and on top of that what Ella told Alek and then the outcome to be what THEY DID, I honestly can’t say I felt the love, the compassion, the romance…nothing. It felt unreal to me just words and I hate it because the beginning really messed me up. The best part about this so far is that once they are THEM in a way I remind myself back to when they first met and their chase and their connection…some really trigger y moments in this and some personal ones, so that of course played a deal too. But I am going in to finish this and will be back with a last paragraph to conclude my review, sorry it’s so long I just WANT to feel it but can’t seem to get over it.
The last 25ish % were back to business, action, revenges, killing, blood shed, romance, darkness…it grabs you again or it grabbed me again, the plans the outcomes, it was all so familiar and I started to get the feeling again which of course was caused because of Alek and Ella of course. I did not see the outcome it was rather intense and definitely if you are not into bloodshed and the DARK it will be quiet a show. The fight for love may not have come easy or conventional to Alek and Ella but still breathtaking. To conclude it all now that I am so conflicted because the ending really got me really got me I even cried but the beginning messed me up so much, I am conflicted. I want you to know reading this review that this is with a heavy heart giving this a 4.5 stars but I am true to myself and to me this dark line crossed over a little too far for me at times. My opinions and feelings just expressing them, doesn’t mean it isn’t for you this is mere look into my feelings towards reading it from page one to end. P.s. there is no epilogue unless I missed it somehow, wish there was a little more of a conclusion unless we are also getting something additional.

Not my first read by the author and I have to be honest I was a little worried about reading this because I really do not like the hero to be the younger one. At the beginning I was set to put it into a category but the more I read the more I freaking fell in love with Slade. My god did I fall hard!
This is not your typical hero younger heroine older romance because it’s so much more. Not only does the heroine in here gain everything back mainly herself thanks for the hero but she teaches him a few things along the way. The hero is a 31 year old that is a new Cardiac Surgeon and the heroine is a 39 year old woman working for the came company looking for that promotion, a company that wants to take it back or rather forward tot he youth. She is a divorcee to a man that not only didn’t know her but also left her for a younger woman who is her identical twin almost. When she ends up in a bar alone trying to nurse her no not broken heart but the new manager hired, who is out to get her…Slade slides in just as he belonged there from the beginning. Their conversation is not to typical and when she meant to blow him off to leave her alone because why would a younger very sexy man want to be talking to her old grumpy ass she is surprised to learn quick that Slade is not a push over and a man who is genuinely a good human being. These two get into all kinds of trouble and the main kind of it all, the love trouble. I can’t say more because honestly this is a book to live through…I promise you that you will LOVE this no matter what type of reader you are. It’s fun, flirty, genuine, romantic, funny, heart breaking, sweet…it has it all. I am so happy I gave this my all because I got all from it. p.s. beware of their stolen kisses, stolen touches and the real real feeling of two people genuinely interested in one another and the BUTTERFLIES!

Cricket Success is what you make of it. That’s my motto and the premise of my speech; the one I’m heading back to Southern Illinois University to give at my college alumni reunion. As the morning co-host of Good Morning, San Francisco, I was asked to be one of the keynote speakers, and while I’m honored to do so, there’s only one problem. The other speaker is Danny Ohara, my former boyfriend. Throw in an issue with my credit card that leaves me stuck at the airport, no rental car in sight, until a familiar face appears like a guardian angel in sexy black glasses. Here’s my dilemma with my attraction to Rueben Rigsby, my airport savior and old friend from college: I’m not supposed to be attracted to him. At all. He’s my ex’s former roommate. Yet that doesn’t stop my big mouth from lying about the status of our relationship when we come face-to-face with said former roommate. As in, we have one. Together. Ruebe I don’t know why I agreed to come back to SIU for the alumni reunion, but I’m damn sure glad I did. When I found the familiar face stranded at the airport, I readily agreed to give her a ride. It’s great to catch up with Cricket Hill, as we make our way back to the place we ultimately met. What I’m not prepared for is this overwhelming attraction I feel for her. I’m not supposed to notice how amazing her butt looks in a pair of black yoga pants. She’s a friend. Period But Cricket has other plans. When she lies about our budding relationship to my former roommate and her ex, I have no choice but to go along with it to save face. I have to pretend to be her boyfriend. I mean, it’s one little white lie, right?
