Not my first read by the author and not my last. I’ve been a Lani fan for many years and I was so excited about this one, even if she did *smack shock us* at the end.

I think I am still in a little bit of a shock as to this book. First I will say I’d recommend reading the Cross Fit series as to the shocker will make a lot more sense. That said….WHAT, WHY LANI? *insert crying emoji* This was, left me speechless because by the time my gears were running as to WHAT and WHO series this is from part of the Cross Fit Series I WANTED TO SCREAM AND CRY at the same time. That said let me tell you a little about this book, I say little because I honestly will NOT spoil the twist and ending for anyone! I also would highly recommend reading the MADD CROSSFIT SERIES first! In my opinion this book would go much better with after reading at least the last book in that series!

This is a story of monsters and the men that turned into them. We have the hero who is well experienced in life, his kids grown, divorced and living a life of hell in a monster’s body. So why can’t he stop thinking about his best friend’s daughter. She practically grew up alongside his own, same age and all. Little did he know the feelings were mutual, but the world will try to keep them apart. The heroine is a 22 year old who has suffered from child hood, don’t get me wrong she has the best support system….her father and brother, except when she lost her brother she also might as well have lost her father. This one broke my heart because as the heroine is young and has her tendencies to act on that, she is still grown for her age. She’s always had a thing for Mr. Crow just never acted on it, when opportunity presents itself, this is where the she acts her age a little comes in. But danger is just around the corner and not just the H & H learn a lesson in this book.

I. CAN’T. WAIT. FOR. MORE. I knew this series was going to blow me away and be good but I did NOT expect this. A little note to the author: you just had you, didn’t you…had to go and break out hearts?

Just when I can say that the last one was my favorite in this series Natasha gives us this and now THIS is my favorite. Both the hero and heroine were out of the norm for me to love but because of their big hearts, I fell in love with both of them individually and together.
When Hero finds himself traded, moved to a new city & with no food in fridge in his new condo…he goes out to seek at least one thing he can control food. The heroine finally said yes to a blind date, after a very long time and in the end found herself dreaming of the man that recently walked in who is hotter than sin but NOT her blind date. The gods were in both their favor that day and night, after they spend the best and sexiest night of each of their lives together, fast forward to a few months. That’s where I am leaving the review because, the actions of one night will give you one of the sweetest with a lot of fun and most romantic story.

Not my first read by the author and I have read Book 1 as well as all the interconnected books in this! I was sooooo excited for this one! *happy sigh* The King Family oh how I’ve missed them!

Seth King has a past that no child should ever go through. Coming from that and then coming out at the end, he has a great life now. A career, the farm, his family and friends…then in comes Remi at the local bar. Seth is so drawn to her, but she ends up ditching him. But for good reason. Forward a few days and he finds himself trapped with the heroine in a cabin, all due to her NOT listening to him in the first place. Their one day there is where you fall in love with them together! I think I just loved their hearts, together and alone, they both have over come so much and still they are willing to at least try and put themselves out there. Granted the heroine was a little harder because she is still living her trauma.

The hero and heroine both bring the best out of each other, and together SO SWEET! *SWOON SWOON SWOON SWOON* on the hero too! This is so real, romantic, adventurous, fun and sexy! A MUST READ!

Not my first read by the author and not the last, I have read all of her books and I probably will read anything the puts out. I love her Hero all about his Heroine vibe in any genre! This prequel is EVERYTHING! I have read Little Lies and this was the perfect before and backstory to the amazing freaking love these two characters share. I loved everything about it, from the historical aspect to the fights, the sorcery and then the chemistry between mates! Vampire meets his little match!

I am really happy to see the pre, because reading little lies I always wondered so this was perfect. You get the back story, the action, the killing, the feeding, the heat, romance and steamy scenes. The chemistry in this was even more explosive than Little Lies and that one was heated. All makes sense now.

The hero is a single-dad pro baseball player. When he moved cities and his 2 most adorable children, he is in need of a Nanny, in walks our beautiful down to earth heroine. The heroine comes from money but has always been paving her own path, humble, beautiful and sweet. When a chance happens where she steps in to be the temp Nanny for the hero’s kids, she falls in love with the kids more than when she got to see them at school where she has been a substitute. They together, gah the heroine’s big heart is so damn beautiful and the way she is with his kids. I do also love her feisty sexy side, the hero really steps it up with the SWOON SEXY-ness…yes I made that word up and it now exists!

It had some interesting twist and turns not going to lie, I did not see that going the way it did regarding the hero, I may also have been a little mad at him in the end, luckily he redeems himself but I def would have still held a tiny grudge about his behavior. But I really really enjoyed this read and knew it would be amazing as this series is!

This one was exactly what I was hoping for, she has a knack for giving us The Mob Boss Alpha Scary Dark Romance Hero that is all about his heroine & I absolutely LOVE that about Elena’s books. It’s such a turn on everything she writes and the Romance kills (no pun intended 😉

Dark Romance to the core. Killing & Blood so beware. The moment the hero saw his heroine, it was meant to be. From him checking her out and having her followed as well as investigated, down to the first date he demanded. The heroine is no weak bone, she def gives him a run for his money. She is sweet, strong and beautiful. Sweet because her heart is huge, Strong because of who her father is and the life she’s lived in that family & Beautiful but she doesn’t even know how beautiful. This is not a pretty world, but Callum will do everything in his power to MAKE IT that way for his Venus. Aliana has lived a life of fortune yes but at the highest cost, she isn’t self centered, cold hearted or brutal like her father but she does know how to stand her ground and fake it till you make it. When she plays a dangerous game with Callum, she finally feels wanted, free and adored. She hasn’t felt alive in a very long time and with everything happening she can’t help but smile at the big mean looking man that calls her HIS VENUS!

Not my first read by the author, she is one of my very top favorite and insta-read authors. Not only have I read almost every single one of her books but I also own more than 40 in paperbacks alone. Aaaaalso, this series is one of my favorites from her! I am and forever will be a WHISKEY FAN!

This one is a enemy-to because even though the heroine and hero have know each other for a while, the heroine comes from a hurtful past. Diesel has been protecting Tracey for a couple years now, keeping his distance but also keeping anyone from getting near her. What I love about these two is that the tension was so intense I was on the toes waiting for the blow up, and when it finally happened it was so raw, passionate and in need! Okay I will only say this because it’s a dislike of mine (personal preference) but the heroine does go on a date with another man even if he was a good guy and I actually can’t wait to read his book also but I had to skip that portion, I tend to read with all my feelings and knew if I fully read the date part because it wasn’t a bad date per-say there is a kiss involved, but the heroine did not feel anything for the date. They def were not meant to be but just because it’s in here in detail, I had to stop, skip that part and continue. That said, it’s that date that actually pushes the heroine over the edge and the beautiful explosion happened!

I have to say that Diesel is beyond SWOONY in a dark and grumpy way, but once you find out the hurt behind his grumpiness, you will cry rivers. It’s beautiful to see the heroine stand up for him, and want to be part of his life, be honest with him, connect. Everything about these two was beautiful even when painful!

If you want enemy-to with a lot of sexual tension build up that will have you explode, a grumpy, big, handsome and swoony hero, a strong heroine that has been hurt in the worst way possible and a love that you see coming from a mile THIS IS YOUR READ! I would highly recommend this whole series, the Whiskey Series is something you will want to re-read in the years to come. p.s. the title makes so much sense I can’t! The shock surprise in this will have you in tears and wishing you could go back! Heartbreaking but so damn beautiful!

AND OMG! I don’t know where to start but to say that Hunter SWOON SWOON DREAM BOOKBOYFRIEND! This is a combo of a Single-Dad Fighter that is all about the heroine! I can’t say I disliked any page! MUST READ!

After Hunter retires, his main focus is on his 15 year old daughter. She is a handful but lately seems to be more of a pain in the ass. But he is dedicated to her and would do anything for her. Even if she might hate him if they move to a small island. When Hunter arrives to his soon to be new home, he goes to a pub and meets the most gorgeous woman with red hair and emerald eyes. Little does he know, he will be seeing her a lot sooner than he planned. The heroine is perfect! Not just because she is beautiful but because she is real down to earth sexy woman. Realtor by day and a sassy sexy waitress by night for her family’s pub, she didn’t expect to see the handsome man that asked for her number this soon. She also didn’t expect to have to get him to hate a house that is perfect for him. Things may seem to go very fast, but the type of chemistry these two have and maturity, I was so happy to see it go this way. You get romance, SWOON, fun, danger, passion and heart! Oh and a very very SEXY ex fighter with arms of a god!

Not my first read by the author and if you know my reading style even a little YOU KNOW I love MF books and this series, and this book blew my mind in the most romantic way possible!!

DASH is the most dreamy, sexy, sweet, smart, handsome and fun Bookboyfriend I have read in a while! I fell in love him from page one. He is just outgoing, fun so so so ROMANTIC AND SWOON WORTHY I can’t express it enough. When he set his sights on a little cute bookworm, he couldn’t stop himself. After all she made him feel something he has never, and he has been living his life out there and in the crowd if you will. Amber is the sweet everyone knows about her girl in town that battles with seizures and is happy with her little slow life with her adorable service dog by her side. She gets to do what she loves, run her book store and well she is content with it all. Until Dash walks into her little work and offers her something bigger. The question is can she let go of that fear or fears in her case and give this big life a go?

I freaking loved these two together. It warmed my heart to watch them with each other and I cried, laughed, swooned and happy teared to the end. This book will warm your heart, and if you want a good hearted hero and a sweet small town girl romance, this is for you!

Not my first read by the author and will never be my last haha I have read close to every single book of MF and also know this family and interconnected books very well. This one I was excited for because TANK had me interested from the first book in the series. I will also like to mention that MF tried to yet again kill us with another heart-wrenching beautiful story. The Wicked Men; where can we get one please! Loyal, fierce, alpha, smart, sexy and just amazing men!

I don’t even know where to begin, I felt everything in this book. From the you will cry you eyes out within the first 10% to the melting of your heart by the way Tank is with the two most adorable little girls, to everything. This is not just a hero and heroine are broken, they are shattered, sadly share something that you wouldn’t wish on anyone. Tank really is the ultimate bookhusband, caring, loyal, sweet and attentive. Leah has always lost so much and overcome well more like grown up faster than usual and she was happy with her life, she had the girls and River. When a horrible tragedy occurred, I cried my eyes out and thanked god that Tank was there. It wasn’t an easy road before but sure a even harder one after. They both had a lot held within their hearts and to come together, it took some patience and love. Loved everything about this, the hero the heroine, the girls, River, side characters, THE WICKED FAMILY…it was a beautiful mesh. I really don’t want to give out too much, it’s a road you want to take with the H&H even if your heart will break and cry for the loss but also will bloom and be happy for the smiles Tank brings to the girls!

Not my first read by the author, have read plenty and was super excited for this one knowing that it will be a age-gap…and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED at all. It actually fell in love from page one.

I will try and not spoil anything even though I really want to tell you in detail page by page. I have to say that the way and actions of the hero and heroine MADE ME FALL IN LOVE with them instantly. The hero’s name is Tucker a single-dad and a small town mystery but legend. Yes, not only is he is hardworking early 40s man but also a singing star (country and more) he has a awesome 17 year old and is loving his life. In comes well not new but comes back the heroine Justine. She had a very traumatic experience in NY that left her broken and broke so to say, when she decides to comes back to her hometown to figure out what she will do next, she ends up at the same only bar the town has and meets Tucker who usually is not there just to hang. Sparks fly instantly, even if he did look older (heroine is 29) but you can’t deny the heart what it wants. Then comes the slow, sensual, seductive, sweet, cute, dorky and amazing connection and play. They fit so well together and the dates he takes her on SWOOOOOOON! I mean the whole book is swoon alert but this one has a little bit of a twist.

The twist I will not get into because if you see it coming it will be hard to continue reading knowing and if you don’t, it will hit you hard. It really does get into a touchy issue and if it’s close to your heart, have tissue and if it’s something new you’re learning about HAVE TISSUES handy because it does get emotional. To me personally coming from understanding the issue better, I understood his actions and feelings, may come off weak or different to someone but in the end you will realize why and what. That is all I am going to say, no spoilers and definitely worth diving into. This is book 2 out of 12 and I can’t wait for more!

If you are looking for a swoony older hero who has his heart on the sleeve, gentleman, sexy, sinful and a heroine who is just swoon fascinated in a sweet way with the hero, broken but held together by his actions, strong and if you like music…I could go on and on, this book is for you. I would recommend reading from book 1 of course but to me I would have been able to read this alone by itself.

Not my first read by the author but I haven’t read a lot of her books, this one basically stole my heart. I loved everything about it. So happy I gave this a try and ended up falling in love with the characters and story line!

This is as simple as the blurb is, a billionaire romance with a twist. I will go ahead and tell you right now that you will need tissues because this was so heartbreakingly beautiful, gah even though at the time I was screaming NO at the heroine, I so understand why she did what she did in the end. To love somebody that mush to sacrifice it all (send me that man my way please) These two are super sweet because the hero is a grumpy British billionaire with a daughter he loves more than anything. The heroine is his best friend’s little sister that yes has had a crush on him, or even more if you will. Their relationship just is so easy and fun and sweet and romantic and agitating…but it’s one you will fall in love with. There is a twist towards the end and no you won’t see it coming, that’s all I am saying about that. Wish there was more as always when I fall in love with a book but highly recommend this one!

NEW to me author and books, but I will say that I will most definitely read more by the author.

I have to say that even thought this author is NEW to me, it felt like they fit very well in the Aurora Book World. I loved the characters and the FEEL of it all, really was true to the world and I for one am so happy about that. I have been waiting for Blaze and this did not disappoint! This is part of the Until July and Until Harmony mainly because Blaze the hero is part of the MC Club that Wes and Harlen are in. He loves being part of the family, has a good life, owns two business, is going by until Milagros ‘Millie’ kind of steals the sunshine. He sees her through his shop window, and when he doesn’t see her the next few days he starts to think he imagined it all. But Millie was as real as ever. She is the sweetest, I really have been waiting for their story so so so much. We have this giant of a ALPHA but so sweet man and a woman that has sheltered her heart and self all her life, stone cold, average…until she lost someone very close to her who made her make a promise. So here is Millie moved form CA to TN to basically live out the promise, even though she wasn’t sure she would end up in this little town (Mayson World) she loved it. Millie comes from a Hispanic culture so to her bikers, hard men and not much is really new. Leaving her sister and family she had left behind was hard but she was determined.

After just one night, things go south for the day after and I gotta tell you that when I wanted to smack the hero I WANTED to smack the hero but in a playful way. It’s all very sweet, very BOOM, very alpha and there wouldn’t be a BOOM without some suspense and adventure. Lot’s of romance and heartfelt moments, swooning and sexy times. So happy this one lived up to my expectations, will be re reading it I know and of course getting a paperback along with checking out other books by the author.

NOT my first read by the author, big fan and I have read almost every book by her. Including Book 1 in this series which was my first 2021 read and my first TOP 2021 list item. So I knew this was going to be amazing as well, and it did not disappoint!

Beckham and Troup, where do I start. Well for starters these two have known one another, so they have history. Both have had a hard life from the beginning and living through well hardship is all I am going to say. But together, from the moment they became a one *SWOON & LOVE* these two are the perfect couple, you can’t not love them together! This kind of THERE IS A LOT TO IT. They both wanted to be together, when they did fast forward 8 years and even then they kept in touch, knowing that they truly belonged together and that they did. In the end or the beginning they get married, even work together in a way but then things fall apart so hard *sad tears* Troup ends up in prison and Beckham ends up alone and in a situation (I’m not telling you) and well she is determined to be there for him and with him…even if Troup serves her divorce papers while he is incarcerated. Everything from that point is like a new beginning, I would suggest reading book 1 but honestly this was so amazing by it self on it’s own too. I don’t want to say more because you really NEEEEEEEED to dive into this. I am so flipping excited for more and happy Lani decided to give us her version of a MC Romance *nailed it*

I wasn’t sure what to expect in this one but I FELL IN LOVE! This is a second-chance that I was rooting from FROM PAGE ONE! I enjoyed every single page, every turn, every look, touch and even the sad! Drew and Brex share a very long history, but what drove them apart? That’s something you’ll have to dive in to find out but will say that it will keep you on your toes but mostly destroy you emotionally!

Drew was carrying the world on his shoulders, spinning to keep his family afloat but also trying to live his own life. Having to downplay his talent more years….until he runs into Brex. You would think them being in the same work field they’d have done that many years ago but no, he kept his distance. When they see each other again, it’s not a love at first sight look of love. The history they shares is one sided, meaning Drew believes what he has been told and lived with and Brex has no idea what the problem might be. It takes them a little to warm up but something about Drew being vulnerable in ways and Brex loving him…SWOON and all the emotions! Highly recommend but also the whole series!
