Not my first read by author, very familiar, top 5 of my favorite author’s and yes I have read almost every single book by her!! I couldn’t wait to read this, so I read it a month or so in advance hehe 🙂 another TOP 2019 MUST READ from this author for me for this year!!

I will say that I usually do not like celebrity romance, because the actions and fame kind of tend to get in the way of the romance, this ABSOLUTELY PERFECT way to have a Celeb Romance!! It was everything you need, the star heroine, protective bodyguard…fun, romance, danger and suspense. I seriously couldn’t put it down, was up till 3am finishing this!!

Remington Aldridge is a well known, famous and amazing actress. Got into the business well before her teens and just blossomed into it. Now she is contempt at where she is in life…wrong! She not only has no privacy but is now having to have bodyguards on her 24/7 per her scary protective brother. She has every right to be worried because not too long ago some lunatic broke into her home and she is still receiving threats. When Remi attends a function and see’s the most attractive and sexy man on earth, it falls short when she looses sight of him. Only to run into him, literally a little later. When they have a rather RUDE encounter, she finds out that the rude sexy man is her now only bodyguard and the owner of the company being hired to provide the protection. What’s a girl to do? Cause mayhem, trouble and give him the slip. But not on Mason Swift’s time. It’s really sweet when he catches her.

They both try to fight against their pull to one another, hard and everything in between to the sweet…is AMAZING, the scenes, the story line, the words…gah, I couldn’t seriously put it down. I will warn you this is in a 3rd person which I am used to from the author so I enjoyed it very much. I can only read in 3rd person by MF it seem’s, she just puts it all together so well, it flows and makes you want to live through the story.

Mason Swift, a little about him because he is the ultimate BOOK BOYFRIEND bodyguard. He is tall, handsome, strong, beautiful heart, gentle but rough…JUST PERFECT! The cover also fit him so well because that is exactly how I saw him play out in my head. He has the hardest time to control himself when little temptress keeps him on his toes. He has had a rough time during his childhood, and has closed himself off for so long he isn’t even sure that anyone could climb that wall. Enter Remi, the brave, beautiful, broken and sassy woman. I really LOVE them together, they are like salt and pepper, when put together it’s the most delicious combo and separate they have their own lives but always are in need of one another.

When lines are crossed, all bet’s are off. Mason will do anything to protect Remi. After all it kind of is his job. Danger seems to be just around the corner but that doesn’t stop them two from forming a bond I’m not sure I would ever want to see disappear. It was just so beautiful, pure and so MUCH HEART! I just loved every moment of these two. And I really hope that Remi’s older brother Aiden is next!!

Not my first read by author and I have read Book 1 & 2 of this series. Dylan & Travis were a WOW for me, I enjoyed the other books in this series but I LOVED THIS ONE!!

Travis is the highlight of any party and always smiling and making people laugh. He is my favorite because his heart is HUGE! And he is so sexy, sweet and cocky handsome, not too much and just enough!! Dylan Jackson is a bad-ass strong and sassy woman, so she can go head to head with Travis, but together they are an explosion!! It’s only natural that Travis is intrigued with Dylan and want’s to unlock all her layers. Only if one day he wasn’t robbed of that opportunity, she is just…GONE! Now I don’t want to give out too much but will tell you that it’s an adventure and twists, turns, love, anger, passion…gah, a little bit of all!! I can’t wait to see what is next!!

Not my first read by author but this is kind of a weird one for me because I did it all backwards. I was not able to binge read all three books but fully read Book #3. Luckily it gives enough information for me to pick it up. I do have to say that it was a great ending to a series!! So this one is written 5 years after Book #2 and everyone was a little more grown up and had lived a little more through.

Without going into Book 1 and 2, Ollie and Layla are finally reunited. They have grown and made mistakes as individuals and when they come together, it was pretty magical. There is a lot happening from book 1 to book 3 because not only the main characters are at play, I feel like a lot of side characters too. That said this one was extra sweet because it’s mostly about the main characters.

Just a beautiful conclusion to a hard road lived, beautiful ending…I wasn’t expecting it but I am glad it ended that way. I would recommend reading from Book 1 but like I said I was kind of okay with just Book 3, gave enough information to sink you in the beautiful story.

Not my first read by author, although I haven’t read a lot by this author, enough to make me want to stay if that makes sense. I do have one book of her’s that’s on my TOP 2019 MUST READ list. That said, this is a DARK ROMANCE which I do read and really love, to an extend. This unfortunately went past that extend and sadly it was A LOT of dark for me, went over that line…for me that is. Maybe this is how DARK romance is supposed to work but I got to 84% and just, it stopped for me. I don’t know how to word this without it sounding really mean because it’s not, I just…it’s not my type of Dark-ER Romance taste! I am always hones tin my review’s and so this is what you’ll always get. Good OR bad! Also that’s how this review should be looked at

This is a story revolving mainly around the heroine, it is in her POV only but the end. It’s a power, wealth and Mob related dark romance. Everly is a young woman who is pretty happy, she has her life together and might even be able to be fully free of her father and family life. So she thought. When she meets a dark man because her best friends dares her to go talk to him, things really heat up. It’s romantic in a alpha dark sense, and I enjoyed it in the beginning. But nothing is as she thinks, her life…she has been living in her own little world unaware of her family’s work. This is where I don’t know how to continue with reviewing because it does go into rather dark-ER scenes that I didn’t even know would be my triggers. I had to stop at 84% take a breath and managed to finish Book #1 but it was really hard to. This is why: the romance for me STOPPED all together, it shifted into more hate, not in the sexy alpha type just hate between the hero and heroine. That’s one trigger, the other is Forced Sex (even if the heroine mildly enjoyed it in the first place) it went too far for me, at once points the heroine was not enjoying it. This is not to be confused with Hate Sex or Angry Sex. He does put marks on her, there is blood involved and just too dark for me. Writing about it makes me cringe because it’s not my cup of tea. So those are the trigger’s for anyone who also has them. I really appreciate my ARC from the author and will continue reading her contemporary lighter books.

The TWIST in the end is what also got me, intense but there is a huge twist for sure!

Not my first by the author and I have always loved every book I’ve read, that said don’t hold it against me if I say that I just, it was hard for me to connect with this book. In the beginning it seemed fine for me, I was enjoying it and then it all just kind of shifted for me. The hero and heroine just felt off, and I had the hardest time connecting with the Heroine. To me she was a little too immature and indecisive, there were great moment I won’t lie but unfortunately I did not connect with this book fully. I’ am always honest in my review’s therefore I can’t sugar coat anything that I did not enjoy. To each it’s own. I think my main issue was the dynamic between the main characters. Again, times of great moments and then not so great.

Aside from that, this is a whirlpool romance. Australian native Olivia is on a Europe vacation by herself where she meet’s handsome, sexy, tall and dark Enrico Ferrara, who whisks her off to a beautiful romance. Only for it to burn and crash hard. Forward two years, Olivia finds herself back in Rome for a job opportunity, when she run’s into Enrico again, all kinds of feelings on both end come bubbling up. What continues next is very STEAMY I won’t lie because the sexy scenes: MY GOSH THE HOTNESS!

This is also a lot of suspense and mystery, after all Olivia didn’t even know who Enrico REALLY was until much later. Danger, suspense, romance, sexy steamy love and lot’s of arguing later (hehe) these two find a way to one another again. Like I said earlier, I really enjoyed the story, there were a lot of scenes and action..but just that connection for me with the characters was lacking a lot. That won’t deteriorate me from reading another book by the author, sometimes you just have hit & misses!

Not my first read by author, I have read almost every single book of her’s so I am familiar with the style. Although this new series one, blew me away. I wasn’t too sure how I would feel about another man’s woman so to say, but this worked.

This story comes with some grant twist and turns. One family with a huge secret, betrayals, lies…but the romance in this sneaks up on you. The swoon factor is pretty high still, even though some scenes got me a little worried but it all came together so well…I couldn’t put it down.

Now the story revolves around the hero Bridge and heroine Isabel…Julian is the twin brother, the bad guy if you will. In which later you do find out that, maybe he wasn’t as bad as it seemed. I really hope the author has a story of his own in the near future. There is a whole big scandal happening and the twin’s parents are high and mighty elite in the rich and famous, therefore no mistaken can be done. This is where Julian’s twin brother comes in, as the stand-in if you will. But his secret is that he is truly in love with Isabel. What happens next is a new level of deception, danger and love. The author did a fantastic job on the start of this new series, and I am looking for more DRAMA FILLED books! *Side note: I kind of, I don’t know if I fully connected with Isabela, took me hot minute. ALSO, the father: NO GO, at anything. Horrible man, sadly this is probably how things really do work in the rich world!

Not my first read by author and you can safely assume she is one of my top 5 author’s ever!! I have read every single of her books so far & I can’t express enough of how much THIS ONE HIT ALL THE RIGHT SPOTS! I haven’t had this much fun and excitement reading a book where I had to put it down to either laugh or place a hand over my heart because it hurts! p.s. you get a little glimpse in the life of JAKE SHARP! *you’re welcome and now let me disappoint you a little and say NO EPILOGUE! *dramatically saying NOOOOOO*

Where do I start with this? Aside from the fact that I never wanted it to end? Little story then Ryan is a partner with Jake Sharp (remember him, ooh yeah) so aside from being partners they are also best friends. We get a little of him in The Protector. So, the fact that he got a story I SCREAMED at that alone, this was very different from Jake’s story and the best on it’s own. Really HAPPY and GLAD that Ryan got his own, except I’m not crying until we get another book or an EPILOGUE to satisfy my hunger for these two!!

Story:
Ryan was getting restless, he was missing something. So he made a choice he though was best…until he rolls into town and technically runs a woman over. Yep, straight up runs her off the street (poor Hannah was on her bike) a bike she very much loved. When Hannah first spots Ryan it’s like nothing else existed, literally because she was so tongue tied and extra clumsy that she runs off. That left Ryan in a who is she? what just happened? type of state. Their first meet is epic! Their little world soon kept building, missed almost kisses later, the first kiss was breathtaking! Gah, the SWOON is almost unbearable but you get swept up in the description it will play out in your head like a movie!! I am still swooning over that. Single-Dad, Secret Agent/Bodyguard and Lumberjack sexy as sin Ryan, doesn’t know what hits him in the form of Hannah. She is nothing like anyone to him and he finds himself so easy to be with her. It’s fun, beautiful, sexy and spunky…their love may have come form the left field but with every hit it just got better and better. The LIE AND SECRET in this will drive you nuts, make you want to read faster to find out, not before you speculate every scenario possible. *Note that you will INSTANTLY fall in love with Ryan’s daughter Alex a.k.a Stinky Cabbage, for a 10 year old she is smart and well over her age, entertaining to the core, funny and super sweet! Really really fell in love with her from the start.

Truly and honestly I can say that (Jodi please don’t kill me) but I am TEAM RYAN WILLIS now (SORRY JAKE) but Ryan stole my heart. Couldn’t get enough of this story, the characters, plot everything and I hope in the future we get a little more of these two *hint hint*

Not my first read by author and she is one of my favorites and I also have read MANY of her books already, so I know the style and what I am to expect. This one the blurb was really intriguing, then I started it and the first 40% I was reading so fast, needing to know what is happening….my heart!! An emotional and beautiful story of a lost man in every sense except when it’s near his beloved. Lot’s of twists in this one!!

Luke & Frankie are who people so madly in love. Still growing up, still trying to figure out the way of life. When Luke ships off to defend his country with his best friend in tow, Frankie has to believe that he will come back to her, safe and sound. What happens after is a world of adventure, hurt, misery and so much LOST for the both of them. I don’t want to spoil it because it really is one big TWIST! I love love loved Frankie, she was not only strong but just the brave in her and her devotion and love for Luke…gah, so sweet!! Really hits on the heart with this one!!

Not my first read by author and by all means the cover alone got me hooked then you read the blurb and realize that HELLO this is Kennedy Ryan we are talking about and you KNOW this is going to be epic! And EPIC it was, I couldn’t get enough of it.
For starters I want to say that this was FANTASTIC from the few pages already, and it only got better and better. The story line, the characters, side-characters, plot…EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS was FLAWLESS!

Part I:
Lennix & Maxim are a two souls meant to be but met in the wrong time. Not the wrong place, I believe Maxim was meant to be there that day, even if the day ended in one defeat and one loss…the loss being Lennix’s.

Part II
When their paths cross again it’s later in life and when Maximus see’s Lennix he would never forget a face like hers. After all HER is what kind of shaped his path. And it’s kind of funny how they cross path’s again, unfortunately AGAIN, right people wrong time. It’s get’s a bit sizzling here and a beautiful adventure. Until Maximus does what he told his brother Owen, no distractions. Two people ages apart in the same world wanting to change and conquer. *sigh*

Ummm Lennix is RUTHLESS!! Being in the Political world herself now MANY years later, she is set out to help the candidates win and move forward. It’s why I fell in love with her some more here, yes I think she shouldn’t have been that HARD on Maxim but honestly what he did, I’d do and think the same. When Maxim and Lennix path crosses again it’s not really fate that does it, but good old power and money. Only now they are both older, wiser and just MORE. I gotta say I’m not a big fan of Maxim here….*shameless hussy* ugh men!! But it’s a chain of events that are like a roller coaster, times your enjoy and love and times you fear and hate. However, the ending to this *which yes it’s a cliffhanger* my god I can’t wait for Book 2, this will be torture!!!!!!!!! PREPARE!

But when lines get blurred and crossed…neither Julia or Carter want to get hurt of course, but things get a little rough on the edges I don’t want to say too much to give it out but I can say it’s a ride you want to be ready for. The love and feelings in this is un-real. I connected to both characters. Julia just wants to make sure everything is okay with her and her brother and everything, after the tragedy she really wasn’t sure where to go in life. And Carter, well he is a man so of course clueless but really sweet. The secret in all this, will blow you away. I really enjoyed this friends-to-lovers story!

Not my first read by author, she is on my top 5 favorite author’s! And yes I have read every single of her books and re-read them also. So when I received this Novella, I jumped right on it!! I needed JUSTIN like air!! I will have to say that reading the Underground King’s Series is probably a best idea before this. Justin is in Book #1 Assumption and I fell in love with him there. So keep that in mind also that this is a Novella.

Aubrey and Justin are neighbors, one day Aubrey’s car door would not shut and gives Justin finally an “in” which he takes gladly. He has had an eye on his new beautiful and sexy neighbor for a while now. AANNDDD I can’t say too much because if you’re reading at least Book #1 you’ll get more and then you’ll get the full in this Novella. I will say that it’s beautiful, just the closure I wanted from Justin’s story!! I have read this and already re-read it, this entire series is amazing so I would highly recommend that too!!

Not my first author read but my first official review. I have to say that the blurb is what caught my eye on this. Sounded very interesting and fun. Gladly it sure was that.

I have to applaud the author on writing such a fantastic heroine, she was strong, sweet, sassy and bright meaning she was enough angst but with a clear head and smartness. Really fell in love with Simone. That said the whole plot line was on point with the heroine being the STAR in this and Kane being the bodyguard who also happens to be uber alpha and sexy. Their banter makes the enemy-to-lovers part exciting. Little hint of suspense romance and very sizzling, might have been a slow-burn-ish but boy when it burned it burned bright! The author did a remarkable job of bringing the story alive.

There really isn’t much I can give out without well, giving it all out. The blurb does a fantastic job on explanation along with letting your imagination run wild. I will say that “the fuckup” is a huge one and I wanted to knee kick KANE multiple times for hours! But the ending and epilogue, was not expecting it at all.

Not only that but not as a teenager and young man, it’s no different, except HIM he feels different and people around him treat him differently. Except Sutton his best friend’s little sister. He doesn’t want to believe it not matter how much he really want’s it to be real and true.

Sutton has been in love with Grady from well, a very long time let’s say. She has tried everything to make him realize but she has always been the little sister of his best friend. FRIEND-ZONED hard core. Grady thinks that she is too good for him but all she ever wanted was simple…him!

When Sutton comes back after being gone for four years, the last thing she wants or needs is seeing Grady again. She told herself that she needs to move on, he made his intentions clear before she left for school. There is no difference now, except if she keeps telling herself that a few hundred more times, her heart will finally believe it too. What comes after, is a journey I was not ready to take, or the emotions that it brought out in me. Not an easy one at that, there is a lot of turns and bumps along the way. Not an easy love, but a worth one.

Theo is…is…ugh can you want to strangle and jump a hero at the same time? His dirty talking will have you hot and bothered and then he swoons the pants right off…then does a 360 and will piss you off like no other. A perfect match for Abigail. She is a firecracker herself, took me a little to get warmed up to her. But the combo of them together was PERFECT! Seriously PERFECT! I was feeling so much and everything the entire time. I don’t want to give out too much but will say that I haven’t read a BULL ROMANCE with a mega ALPHA HERO in a while and boy have i missed it, this was just top-notch.
