Not my first read by the author, and she happens to be one of my favorite authors. This something new from Kelly I was super excited for, so happy I had the chance to early read and review this!

I don’t know where to start on this, I guess first of this is a long book so you will get your hearts fill. It’s heavy on the angst and slow burn, small town, second-chance, H&H have a history. Willa and Aiden have known each other since Willa was just a kid. Aiden is the big brother’s best friend and off limits in all the ways. That didn’t stop Willa from dreaming of one day being his, married, children and all the 1.5 things a young girl dreams of. That dream gets shattered in unexpected ways. Forward almost a decade and Willa is older, understands more and is leaving behind a stupid marriage that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. But what is a woman supposed to do when the man she wants and loves doesn’t want her? Their re-union may have been a bitter sweet one but the events that happen next and through the end are well very unexpected and beautiful.

This one took me for a ride, like a rollercoaster ride!! Because H&H knew one another for when they were kids there was so much history there that I hung on to all the words in which dragged me to all the angst to a point where at 11pm i wanted to scream at my kindle. There were good and bad moods while reading this. The bad ones usually consisted because the hero needed to be smacked hard or the heroine needed to be nudged out of the awkward zone she placed herself in at times. All in all I really enjoyed this, lots of emotions running through, lot’s of maybe triggers too because it really deep down is the most emotional book I think I’ve read in a while now. You’ll enjoy this fate written in the stars on in the orchards in this case, and be warned that Ben (Heroine’s little son) and Aiden are the cutest pair in the freaking world, my heart went pitter-patter every time!! You’ve been warned of the swooning!

Not my first read by the author, I’ve read enough where I have enjoyed most the books and am familiar with her writing style. I will say that this is a ARC I actually did not sign up for, based on the blurb to me z just did not sound like something that would be up my reading style. But the author was very kind and provided a ARC already so I am thankful for that. 

With so that said, I definitely was right about skipping this one and all for person reasons. I’m a egotism reader, I invest myself in the characters, and in this one I just could NOT get over the heroines ex-husband relationship…I tried I really did and I get being good friends so with your ex-husband but in here it rubbed me wrong in all the ways…just personally weird to me and I did not like the vibe. Which kind of sucks because if it wasn’t for that, I’d have ended up loving this even up to a Top 2021 read. Aside from that while deal with me, I really loved the hero and heroine together, their kids were too funny and all the side charcuterie. I mean a handsome sexy fireman and a gorgeous success chef, what a great combo. They are honest with one another, love LOVED their energy and connection they had, not just the romantic sexy but just two people who really are for one other!

NEW to me author and books. I do believe I may have read one of the author’s books many moons ago but do not remember it so I am treating this as a new to me author and after reading the blurb I really wanted to read it and was happy to find out I was selected to receive a ARC.

Okay I will say it first this type of story line and trope happens to be one of my favorites because something about second-chances that involve more than just broken hearts, really gets me going and thankfully this one kept me engaged the whole time. It’s a heavy doze of push-pull, second chances aren’t always paved easy and this one was not paved at all, just a bunch of rocks and obstacles in the way…one big one at that. I really did enjoy the angst and story line, Alex is a sweetheart and it took me a little to warm up to Ignacio and Tinley but once I did and of course got further into the details I understood where she was coming form even if I wanted to smack them both upside the head multiple times in the story. Glad I gave this a go and enjoyed myself along with it. Will be trying out more books by this author in the future.

Not my first read by the author and I do love her writing style so when I saw something NEW coming, I jumped right in without even reading the blurb or anything. This author is definitely my one-click author.

I don’t know where to begin again because this turned into a FAVORITE real fast. I loved everything about the characters and the side characters. We have a single-mom to a adorable 3 year old and starting over, and a single-bachelor and co-owner of the most popular pub/bar that has it good, he is successful, handsome and every woman turns her head when he walks by. Their relationship is an insta-love but in the best way possible, there isn’t so much strain on the working together issue which I enjoyed, just flowed well. The heroine is smitten as much as the hero is with her, then he finds out she has a 3 year old adorable little girl and everything changes, she basically has him and the rest of the men wrapped around her little finger. It was really sweet to watch them together. Little bit of drama towards the end, which is expected…all in all it’s just very sweet, right and flowed well, loved every page, ENJOYED every page & I can’t wait for me. This is the type of book you re-read!

I’m not even sure where to begin because I just want to say it all at once. Little background Until Cece is in association with Until Talon which happens to be a top favorite,  I say top because all of Auroras books are my favorite. That said, Cece is Mia’s Sister and ever since i read Until Talon I have been dying over and going Cece and Winston would get their story. It’s an unusual one because we already get so much of them in Until Talon. I want to touch on the fact that the story line lines up perfectly, and i couldn’t read fast enough to see what will happen. 

Cece is a mother of 3, devoted wife of 10 years… when her husband just blurs out that he slept with someone else, it comes to a shock to get but not get husband Mike. Unfortunately she has been making excuses in her life for Mike because well 3 kids is a lot to handle in a daily base. She was a homemaker and when everything fell apart, she had to start over at her age. 

Winston, oh where do I start with this hunk of AMAZINGness. I loved Winston from Until Talon and I knew he would be the knight in shinning armor that i imagined.  He’s been living with a problem if your will for many years now with no end in sight. When he meets Cece it’s love at first sight for sure. These two truly belong together, and I loved their interactions in every page. 

Cece going through a separation/divorce and Winston trying to do his best not to lose it all even though he wants to buy Cece would never allow that… there’s so much I want to give out but won’t. It’s quiet a rude with taking. The stolen looks, the chemistry, the first kiss, the need, passion, the swoon, the kids…everything flowed so well together. I highly recommend reading Until Talon then diving into this, I am so happy that this turned out to be SO AMAZING l was I hoping would be. This is the second time I’ve read K.D. Robichaux in relations to the Aurora world and I LOVE now both!

Not my first read by the author. Not my first read by the author, this is my first in the series and holy molly did I fall in love! I really loved this type of trope and it gripped me from the beginning. These two were meant to be and i loved them together through it all.

Dakota Bristol was beautiful to get to know, something about her really had me hooked from the start. She’s a Single-Mom Coffee Shop owner and a woman that just is liked. Macon Brady our hero is everything. Broken, sweet, funny, handsome and just exactly what Dakota never saw coming. These two had it set to friends only, they tried their hardest but something did form between them, but how to you make that turn into a relationship from two people who have a heavy past and a complicated life as it is. The journey to that is thrilling, fun, sweet, romantic and sexy!

Not my first read by the author, I actually she’s been one of my secret hidden I LOVE her books author. I honestly have not read any books by her that I did not like, something about her writing style just appeals to me.

So the hero and heroine here are in their late 40’s meaning they are also grandparents. So the hero is a rough MC who is 50 and has had his share of life, the one daughter he does have he lost contact with many years ago. Two years is how long this man has waited to make his move only to be send into hyper speed of romance when the time does come. The heroine, she is super sweet, loving and smart. Taking care of her childs children, raising them since they were little enough…she doesn’t have time for anything else. She likes her job being the cook at the MC and that’s that. WRONG! She didn’t know what she was missing until that kiss. Since this is a MC you know you will get action, mystery, suspense, danger, dark..but what’s beautiful about this si the love between the hero and heroine, it’s not over the top no, but by gosh it’s so sweet makes you melt. Something about a big strong MC man to melt your heart when he calls you SUGAR!

Absolutely recommend her books to anyone that loves older characters, old school love, romance, passion, dirty sex but in the best way possible and just plain REAL!

First off MF is not new to me in any way. She’s been one of my very first many moons ago and I’ve read enough of her books to be filly invested. That said, I was scared to read this because I just had a feeling it was going to be very emotional. Once I dived it I couldn’t stop, beware right away that you probably want to have tissue near because I cried my little eyes out. What a heartbreaking story of two people who have over come so much differently yet same pain.

The heroine is a single mom not only kind of starting over but more importantly, starting over after not only her heart was broken but for her daughter. To be with a man that did that to her and her child, BROKE MY HEART. The hero, my gosh the hero I loved through and through, he wasn’t broken but u fixable, every time he ran from the heroines little daughter my heart was torn, when I found out his past and to why he is the way he is NO ONE should ever suffer through that. The pain he endured is unimaginable, yet he was still living day by day, maybe not so much living but alive and taking it day by day. When these two collided it’s been a year and more in the making. Watching little Hadley with her Dock (Hero’s name is Jack but the man he took care of called him Jock for the hecks of it and it kept in honor of him) but little Hadley the heroines daughter calls him Dock. It’s the sweetest thing in the world. The fun part about all this is that both hero and heroine come from being twins. This beautiful story broke my heart over and over. I hung to every page, anticipation, the kisses, the little girl with her big broken man…heartwarming and I deem this book on my TOP 2020 MUST READ list!

NEW to me author and books. I found this on one of the email’s I get from GiveMe Books PR listings I recieve and the blurb really appealed to me. So I thought why not give this a try.

I had a huge issue from the beginning with this, now this is probably just me and my taste but the accent in this book DROVE ME TO THE EDGE I’m sorry it really did, I enjoyed the writing and chanters but the accent I can’t even explain what the accent is but every YOU was a YA and now I can’t unsee the YA when I read anything else. I’ve never read anything with this type of accent and it did not work for me, it distracted me the whole book and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the story line. This is a second chance, hero is the new principal and heroine the new teacher at their hometown. The hero and heroine share a past, a lot of it and a lot more than anyone would have guessed. Again, that accent really prevented me to even pay too much detailed attention, and I will say that if you don’t mind that type then you’ll love this because it really was great writing and the story line along with the characters. Unfortunately I don’t know if I would try the author again.

Not my first read by the author and I have read every single one of her books. I was honored to receive a ARC and review this beauty. I will say that from the title and a couple reviews I read I was a little skeptical due to me having a ‘reading block’ issue when it comes to Hero’s that are man-whores or sleep with other people, there was one of two parts where I kind of read little faster and bypassed it because I really wanted to give this a full shot and thank gosh I did because once I went over that tiny bump this book BLEW ME AWAY! This single man who comes off as rough, player and everything that the heroine hated, has one of the biggest hearts and when he held her daughter Sunny and showed her part of his heart, mine grew ten times bigger for him! This Angsty-Single-Mom SLOW BURN was the right amount of all,

Carys and Deacon from the beginning were like water and oil, one a single mother trying to make it day by the the other a man-whore who’s “entertainment” was something she would have rather not ever heard. It went from player to the connection and friendship they form, I can’t explain it but I wanted them to just be together so bad and the slow burn was almost unbearable but perfect in the best ways. I -ave to say that this book is a MUST READ!

Commitments are a foreign concept to him. He doesn’t make any promises to try. That should’ve been enough for me to steer clear. It most certainly isn’t.
What follows can only be described as a disastrous clash of epic proportions.
But one indisputable fact remains.
That lone soul has no plans of opening his heart.

This is not my first read by the author but I haven’t read lot of her books yet. That said this one was a enemy to which is my favorite.

 I can always appreciate this authors writing and words, she definitely has a way with them.  I lived Millie, she was like a little cute adorable referee between the hero and her mama the heroine. It was really sweet! Overall once I got warmed up more to the heroine and hero, they really do not hold back and it’s beautiful all around. Glad I was able to review this, looking forward to more!

The romance on this was off the roof, you will fall in love with the hero instantly…this is a heartbreaking story of mistakes being made, misunderstanding and priorities being thrown around instead of organized. Sweet, beautiful, sizzling and captivating. It went really well with the Cocky Books and your heart will melt with the epilogue!!

Not my first read by the author, she was a new to me a little ago but I read one book and then I had to read all of her books. This one, not so different. Have you ever started a book and it’s so damn good that you had to stop yourself from reading because you didn’t want it to end? Well, this is that type for me!

The book stars off with you needing tissues, because not only do things happen fast but also in doubles. But you will instantly fall in love with Gunner, right off the bat! Both hero and heroine are put in difficult situations, very different form one another meaning they carry the same amount of guilt and worry on their shoulders but worlds apart. Typing this reminds me of how I could have used another 5 or 6 books of continued stories from just this one book.

Gunner is the perfect hero, caring, strong, sweet, sexy and a baseball player…that’s all I need to say. He lost something a very long time ago but it hung on him for years, now that he is back in town for his mother…he can’t seem to get away from the memories.
Delilah is a woman that let’s just say had to grow up pretty fast. Going through life cooking one meal after another, by the way she is a fantastic chef…and her son is the main thing in her life at all times. I absolutely, if you don’t fall in love with Gunner by himself at the beginning you will once you meet him and Tucker *swoon swoon swoon* after all this book gave me all the feels, emotional, beautiful, haunting, captivating and all the romance and sexiness you need! I can’t wait to read more…p.s. secretly looking and hoping Colt Delilah’s brother gets a story!

Not my first read by the author, love Layla’s books, but I have not read book #1 in this series, which I hope to get to soon…yes even backwards. I am so glad I read this because reading book 1 will be a MUST if it’s as good as this!

Ryker is a successful businessman, has it all, but his favorite is playing the guitar nightly at a local bar. Que in single-mom Heather who is feisty, sassy and so sweet. They don’t have much interaction that first meet but Ryker comes to the rescue…in many ways. When they see each other again, not only are they drawn to one another but the sparks fly, really fly. I absolutely LOVE them together…and I can’t say this enough but Ryker is a whole new level of SWOONY, the way he is with Heather’s daughter *sigh* everything about this book was charming, exciting, romantic and beautiful!

Not my first read by the author but my first official review. The blurb is what caught my eye and of course the beautiful cover! The first book in this series was a must read so I was looking forward to this one!

This is a VERY SWEET single-mom friends-to romance. It started off a little slow for me but once it picked up, I enjoyed it very much. The characters were on point and wonderful, the heroine is a widow single mom to two beautiful little girls, she is beautiful without trying, funny, very sweet and the biggest heart. The hero is a SEXY HANDSOME early 40s man who is ex military and doesn’t have much. Grant moves to the same town and Dakota helps him find a home. They strike a friendship only to not be able to ignore the chemistry and pull. Dakota struggles with moving on while Grant struggles with the fact that he is alone. They navigate through ups and downs, in the end the big question is will love win?
